I am able to purchase groceries on a daily basis, on the other hand, I am able to buy odd and end items. Toiletries, items from chef’s cooking apparatus in addition to stationary items. “The store was clean and the shelves pretty well stocked. They have a decent selection of grocery items with some lesser-known brands. We gambled on a few today and shall see. The cashier lanes were moving efficiently. The quarter for a cart thing is still weird to me and I left mine in the cart like always. I struggled between and 3 and 4 stars for the rating, but gave them the benefit of the doubt this time.”

“I lived in the neighborhood over 50 yrs ago. I remember the different names of the store now called Family Food Center. I stopped in recently and was very impressed with the updates, the new owners and the friendly staff as I looked around I saw fresh produce decently priced and surprisingly fresh, the kinds of fresh meats great for any soul food dish, spices I have been looking for at other stores and couldn't find. I will be coming back to Family Foods at least once or twice a month. Thank you for keeping this well maintained grocery store in this neighborhood.”

“I have been going to Claudia’s for years. My doctor asked me about my supplements, of course they wanted me to just bow down to big pharma. Not to get off track and on my soapbox. Claudia’s always has helpful staff, and knowledgeable too. I was dealing with pain from a surgery, between the government and the doctors they are not even prescribing enough medication for pain. “Very good and honest owners. I was in a rush one morning and stopped by to pick up a few things. The card machine stopped working and it was one of the few times I wasn’t carrying cash on me.A couple weeks go by and I received a phone call from Villa’s credit card company. They said Isaac looked into this and it did in fact charge my card and they were refunding both charges that him and I thought were canceled.There’s not many people that go through this effort to make things right. “I'm not going to give this grocery store a super low Review that's just being negative. It isn't as good as Krogers but you can still find deals I probably wouldn't shop here at night time but the day seems fine. It's a more pick and choose kinda store You will find deals on deals definitely cheaper than Krogers and Costco. Service was good not amazing but decent What surprised me was how many people were at the store probably over 30 yet the atmosphere was still pretty quiet. Only bad I thing really was the bananas and some of the meat have to pick and choose other then that food looked decent.”

My husband and I stopped here for the first time today, and bought 12 ears of corn, assorted fresh produce, some preserves, homemade bbq sauce and an assortment of uniquely flavored salsas. I have never tasted such amazing salsa. I don't know what you guys are doing, but keep it up!”
