“The store was clean and the shelves pretty well stocked. They have a decent selection of grocery items with some lesser-known brands. We gambled on a few today and shall see. The cashier lanes were moving efficiently. The quarter for a cart thing is still weird to me and I left mine in the cart like always. I struggled between and 3 and 4 stars for the rating, but gave them the benefit of the doubt this time.”
“If you do some shopping here make sure to check every label for an expiration date. Several times I’ve gotten very expired food. Today I bought tortillas that expired in may and eggs that did yesterday. When I mentioned it the cashier was rude and told me to go get another one. There were no other eggs in that price range that weren’t “out of date” and I did not have time to go back and look through all the tortillas in the hopes of finding a pack not expired. When I got home I made my microwave “TV dinner” that smells rancid. It had expired in 2024! The last time I shopped here I bought a can of hot dog chili that expired in 2023. The butchers meat there is the best in town though and most of the people who work there are kind and very helpful.

“OMG ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!! The food, the employees, and the laid back atmosphere.
My sister, her boyfriend and I came here one day and had an almost perfect experience.
The store was somewhat organized, and not busy luckily. We walked around to check everything out and we went to the lovely cashier (who was SUPER sweet and I LOVED HER) and asked about where to order the chicken at. She told us the process and when we got to the counter across from the cashier checkout, a nice teenager/young adult (tall and looked young) assisted us and answered our questions. She even gave us a menu to take home! We were waiting for the chicken (1 breast and 2 legs), and the other lady working (slightly heavier set as to compared to the one that helped us) walked up to assist another customer, and SNATCHED the menu we were going to take home right from where I had it on the counter (my hands were full). We got drinks and when we went to go sit down to eat, the tables were dirty and the cleanest one we saw was very unstable.
Other than that one lady and the unstable table, my experience was good. DEFINATELY will be coming back again soon! Even the man in the meat department near the back of the store was SUPER nice!! (He is the reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 3 and I am willing to go back.)”
“Lovely small town market with a delightful staff. Keeps a broader variety of staple, dry goods and produce items. Carries meat as well as frozen meals. Staff are incredibly friendly, and is an active supporter of charities and food banks in the community.”

I walked in about two weeks ago looking for healthier, whole-grain breads and now I am absolutely hooked. Granted, I might need come out of retirement to take on a full-time job if I want to walk out with more than two or three bags per visit, but the quality makes it completely worth it. “I lived in Toledo from 1994 to 1999 right on Erie Street as a kid. My folks would send us down to Mike's with a dallar each and we felt like we hit the jackpot each time! Good to see Mike's still up and running throughout the recessions and pandemics. When I move to Michigan I am definitely gonna come visit the old neighborhood, Mike's included. The Nostalgia is real!”

“I love the Point Stop. The owners are friendly and kind. I stop in here for some beverages and hummus and it's always a positive experience. The hummus they make is the absolute best hummus I've ever had. None of the local restaurants can compare.”
“Replying to the comment about not being able to take your cart to your car to unload, I know for a fact that all you have to do is ask for help and employees will gladly walk you to your car and help you load your groceries with the cart. This is a courtesy policy of the store. I use this policy whenever I “ overload “ my small cart. Try it out for yourself. Great place to shop!”

“I moved to texas but this was my local store they are good people who work there. They got a deli in the back I highly recommend those sub sandwiches, gyros, and especially the salad. It was a loaded salad, eggs, meats, the works! I really wish I could eat here again but I'm not 1000 miles away.”

“Very good and honest owners. I was in a rush one morning and stopped by to pick up a few things. The card machine stopped working and it was one of the few times I wasn’t carrying cash on me.A couple weeks go by and I received a phone call from Villa’s credit card company. They said Isaac looked into this and it did in fact charge my card and they were refunding both charges that him and I thought were canceled.There’s not many people that go through this effort to make things right. Especially without me even knowing.Thanks!”
