“I went into the Clawson post office during lunch today to pick up a package that needed a signature. The woman who helped me (I didn't get her name) was the most patient, helpful and kind person I've come across in a very long time. I find customer service in today's world to be pretty awful. The black woman (hopefully, this helps with WHOM she was) who helped me today restored my faith in humanity a bit. Thank you & Merry Christmas!”
“Patrice & Kim exemplified amazing customer service. Came into the store with 4 items that I needed to ship. They suggested different products than the ones I was intending to purchase. This resulted in more efficient shipping and even saved me a bit of money. Instead of sending multiple individual items to the same address, I was able to bundle some packages and send them faster and cheaper.
While I was in store, there were customers coming to send packages, purchase money orders, and even some with passport appointments. These ladies were extremely kind. They exercised patience when customers had different issues and took their time to explain the solution.
This visit made today’s errand much smoother. Thanks again, ladies! I will definitely use this post office again in the future.”

“I have come here at least once a week for the last 4 years and have nothing but great things to say about this USPS branch. The ladies at USPS Berkley are amazing. They are always super friendly and helpful! There are sometimes long lines if you can't do the self service drop off but that is to be expected with any post office and not anyone's fault. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. I've sent hundreds of packages over the years and never had a problem. They are always good about doing the initial scan for the package so I can be sure the package is shipped and in good hands. 5 stars!”

“I called this post office today desperately trying to correct an address on a package that had been sent. The merchant I ordered from left off an apt #. I got a lovely gal on the phone who located the package and got the correct information on there for me. I had been phoning everywhere and couldn't get any help! I'm so grateful to her. I don't know her name, but she was awesome!”

“My experience at this USPS is that there is often slow service and a long line. There was a line again today, however Kayjay provided quick, efficient and client-friendly customer service. She acknowledged the wait and worked expediently to get my needs met in order to continue progressing the line, as she will presumably all day long. This employee deserves recognition!”

“The Brightmoor station is always amazing! Mr. Wofford is always super pleasant and friendly. It’s nice to get to know the staff. The last time I was there I was walking around trying to fit my package in one of the boxes they sell. The girl saw me struggling and found me the perfect box! Just wonderful service every time!”
“I bring packages almost every day to send out with QR codes. They're always helpful. Occasionally I'd come in and there'd be a handwritten note taped to the window announcing they were all on 15 minute break. I wonder why they don't take their breaks separately.”
“Go inside the fresh building. Difficult to find since there is no signs of usps. They have packaging to ship priority mail. It is a Meijir customer service desk that also has a subset of usps services.”

“I was missing some packages after our wind storm Friday. The lady behind took time to speak with my carrier and find out how many she delivered. They suggested I cast a wider net around my house and they were right! I appreciate them both taking the time and being kind enough to help me, as well as remind me to factor in the weather. “I've been dropping packages off here for the last couple weeks on my way to work, and they are always as fast as they can be, and I feel like they care a lot about the customer's time being valuable. If there's ever a line, it's been someone coming in and not understanding how to do something, or just having a big order (so that's out of the post office's control on timing) but I can still feel the ladies working with a sense of urgency to get to the next guest. They're always matter-of-fact here and haven't treated me like I'm stupid (I don't know how shipping things works, or at least, I didn't at first - I'm better now), and have gotten my packages their printed labels and scanned in just as fast. They also tend to pay attention to the packages I send having custom writing on one side, and make sure to put the shipping label on the other side, so nothing is covered up :)
This location is very easy to get to as well, at the end of a dead end, so there's almost no traffic to worry about when coming or going except other post office errand folks. The parking lot is large, but the lobby is small. The double doors before entering make a VERY warm / humid entryway, so be warned if you are sensitive to that especially in the summer time; otherwise the building is set up like a normal post office inside! Both doors have push buttons to operate, and the interior doors are always propped open when I've gone, so this is a fairly accessible location I believe (though the entryway vestibule portion is very small and may pose a bit of maneuvering to get a powerchair through with the door swinging clearance).

“This cute little post office respectfully answered all the questions of the customer in front of me & I had very fast service myself. I had no issue being seen or with the business hours (I showed up at my lunch break at 11:50). I was in & out in 10 minutes.”

“I can't speak for everyone else, but my 14 envelopes of paperwork was received by the company very fast. Mailed everything 2 months ago, and called them 2 days ago about the paperwork. The young black woman that was at the front was very nice, kind, and assisted me very well with no problem at all. Now, last year I did come to this same post office to mail in paperwork and the company was never receiving anything and not sure why. But, I've also experienced this situation at other different locations in Detroit/Michigan period!! I've decided to give this location another shot, and everything did workout well with no complaints.”
