Great Turtle Brewery & Distillery
1359 Hoban St, Mackinac IslandWe enjoyed lunch at The Great Turtle Brewery today. Very much so! We have to eat gluten-free, which they were able to accommodate wonderfully with a simple hamburger bun swap, but the best part was our server, MacKenzie! She was terrific! Super attentive, in the best way possible - checked on us appropriately, let us dine without silly interruptions, kept our glasses filled & table free from unused dishes, and was an overall joy! We were super pleased, as she was the best waitress we've had over the couple long weekends on the island in the past month - most servers have disappeared. MacKenzie was fabulous!

Good Day Cafe
7216 Main St, Mackinac IslandBusy spot in the busy area of the island. Seating inside is a hit or miss so keep that in mind. This is our go to spot for ice cream, it’s soooo good! Only thing is the line tends to be long, the workers are always rushing you and not the kindest, but the ice cream is worth it just be patient and know what you want!
