Had some questions and the supervisor/manager walked me through the product lines, understood my questions, answered all my questions. Overall such a great job, I ended ip buying 3 additional items!”
“This is a wonderful store, in a beautiful, historic home. Highly recommend a stop if you are looking for a unique gift, for a female or person with feminine tastes at least. The staff is not super friendly... as I was checking out once, a manager was lecturing another staffer about something minor right in front of me, which was super uncomfortable. But the store is great!”

“Best retail clothing experience I’ve ever had and it’s all thanks to Angel! I came in to return a pair of jeans that I ordered online and didn’t fit and Angel greeted me with a big smile and offered to help me out, so I decided to try on some jeans to potentially swap with during my return. I didn’t expect to find anything good since my height and leg size have made it impossible to find cute yet comfy jeans, but she helped me out tremendously and knew exactly what I wanted. I ended up trying on a handful and left with not just one but two pairs and they are the best fitting ones I’ve ever owned?She was definitely the most helpful clothing retail employee I’ve ever encountered! ??”

“Some shops feel like hidden treasures, and Closed Encounters is definitely one of them.
The moment I walked in, I was struck by how unique and stylish the clothing and displays were. What surprised me most was how affordable many of the pieces were, especially considering how unusual and carefully selected they felt. I spent quite a while trying to decide between a pair of pink pants and a knitted sweater before finally choosing something else—but I may still be thinking about that outfit!
The fitting room was comfortable, and the gentleman working that day was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
I also love the location. Situated across from The Road Less Traveled Books and near Vintage Inn shoe shop, it's easy to spend an afternoon exploring downtown Farmington, finding a new book, shopping for a unique outfit, and maybe even discovering the perfect pair of shoes to complete the look.
With entrances from both the front and back, a warm atmosphere, and fashion that's a little different from the ordinary, It is a wonderful hidden gem that's well worth a visit.”

Disappointing but understandable due to this being a popular shoe. Plus, I’m looking for it the day before Easter. However, just a few minutes later a salesperson called me back to inform me that they found a pair and to come pick them up. I appreciated them doing that. It made my whole day. It was a small gesture but it meant a lot.”
