The harness I bought for my 7 month old partially blind Shar Pei (who is scared of noise and pulls heavily) works great and fits well. I came in with his old harness that was sized to him but fit improperly and the staff was able to find me the appropriate size. I was worried about the price but it's absolutely worth the quality and safety it provides. This store offers free water for your pups and a list of other pet friendly shops in down town Petoskey.

4041 Charlevoix Ave, PetoskeyI have taken my dog here for multiple surgeries! The surgeries went well!! The staff are absolutely fantastic!! Jensen's is very professional, compassionate, and caring! Highly recommend bringing your animal here!
Edit: 10-12-24. I also took our dog here bc she was super sick. Dr henning and staff tried to save her life for 3- 4 days. I told the vet bc my dog was almost 14 I didn't want her to suffer. If lily wouldn't get better I wanted her to be euthanized. We got the call that her levels weren't improving enough. We made the choice to have her euthanized. Dr Henning met with us. She went above and beyond for my Lily girl. I will be forever grateful for her. Our lily crossed the rainbow bridge. Dr Henning was so kind and compassionate. If you need an amazing place to take your fur babies I would highly recommend bringing them to Jensens!

923 Baxter St, PetoskeyWe found Elder Piper when we were driving through the neighborhood outside of downtown Petoskey. They have a nice variety of beer and cider on the menu. I enjoyed the Honey Lager and the Prairie Willow. There is a Stiggs food truck on the patio. We had some wings. The food was just OK. The Stiggs restaurant in Boyne is much better. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the fire pit. Great spot. We will be back.

The food is very good and is priced similarly to other local restaurants.

751 Spring St, PetoskeyI was greeted warmly and asked politely what I wanted to drink. The server brought chips and salsa. I commented when he returned that it was one of the best I've had. I ordered a combo chili relleno and a burrito, it came with rice and beans. I had not had a chili relleno this good in a long time. If ever back here I will definitely eat here again.
