“Man I got practically everything on my shopping list here except Oil of Oregano - Resilia, 6000mg with Black Red Oil, and celery juice, nor Ginzing. But that's ok. I didn't spend as much as I thought I would for all that I got. There's no doubt I will definitely have to shop here again, indefinitely.”

“I usually will go here and Walmart Aldi has better prices on dairy(sliced cheese etc)also there Kirkland bagged chicken products are just as good if not better than the big name brands,overall good experience and great prices.”
“Great store to shop at deli is awsome, they stand behind all products purchases and they greet you with a smile when you walk in the door. I won't go to myers they have sloppy produce old rotting potatoes lettuce sloppy on ground area not neat clean high priced etc.”

“I read about Detroit People’s Food Co-op and once I heard they were an African American led community owned grocery outlet I knew I had to pay a visit and support this business. The store very modern and beautiful, there were the most beautiful murals on the walls, and the staff/customers seemed very pleasant. All of the produce looked fresh, There were a variety of dairy products as well as dairy alternatives I’ve never heard of. I got some kefir drink, mushrooms, broccoli, and cream cheese. I plan on using these ingredients for some dishes that I like to make for the unhoused and poor. Thank you guys for your service and I pray you receive Allah SWT’s blessings in abundance.”
“This place is a nice little gem in the area. Staff are kind and they hold a lot of variety. Some items you might find here are a little more expensive, but then other items are cheaper. Definitely a place I'd like to keep around.”

“Finally went to this grocery store for the first time. It was cute but I did go later in the day so a lot of the sushi that I originally wanted to check out and purchase, was gone with bare shelves. There also wasn't many staff members around besides behind the deli counter, which is completely understandable due to the amount of meats they had. I would definitely come to this place again and purchase some goodies.”
