“This review is just for the LabCorp part of Walgreens. I needed to get a COVID antibody test done for part of a Crohn's/IBD study I'm in, and it could only be done at a LabCorp center. The two closest ones nearest me were this one, inside a Walgreens, and one in Farmington Hills, so since this one was only about 20-minutes away from me, I opted for it. I made an appointment for the test online, and when you arrive, there are kiosks (on the right-side of the store, once you walk in) where you check in. You will need your driver's license, as the kiosk scans it to gather your information. Someone will call your name, and then take you into the LabCorp area, which was like a mini doctor's office area and something you'd never guess was behind the doors! I didn't get the name of my technician but it only took her one poke to get my blood, which is pretty good in my book; I get bloodwork done frequently and sometimes it takes two or even three pokes. She told me 2-3 days for the results, but UNC has told me 2-4 weeks; when I asked UNC about it, they said normally the lab would give you the results in 2-3 days, but the 2-4 weeks is because they ship it to LabCorp in California and there are a few other steps that need to happen first before I can get the results. I got the test because I want to know if I have COVID-19 antibodies (I have been vaccinated, but am on immunosuppressants), but most people get it to see if they've ever been infected with COVID, I believe.”

“The pharmacy is great. If a medication isn’t in stock and has to be ordered, it’s always within 3 day within my experience. They’re really nice about submitting and resubmitting to insurance to try to get medications covered, and even contacting my doctors offices for me in the past to have them help with this. I successfully can fill all of my prescriptions here, and thanks to them, one that originally was not covered by my insurance now is due to the effort they put in.
I have received vaccinations from them. That was easy to schedule and get done, and very nice that they do it behind a closed door for privacy. I also appreciate vaccinations being done in a private room, not next to the pickup line like many other pharmacies, so less time is spent sitting next to possibly sick people standing in line.
Thank you to THIS location (I haven’t had this much ease at others) - I appreciate the pharmacy staff here. I have been coming here for years.
I only took away 1 star because I don’t get notified anymore when my prescriptions are filled. The online system is a little more difficult to use than the old one. Opting out and then back in to text updates hasn’t fixed it yet.”

“This Kroger is in a zone where internet does not work. It has been extremely frustrating, especially when trying to use the digital coupons. There was no way to use them. Then, a week ago, an employee showed me a printed copy of all of the digital coupons. I had no idea they did this or when they had started it. So, if you are ever at a Kroger in a zone without internet, check the area where the flyers are when you walk in for the digital coupons. Pick one up, and when you get to checkout, or self-checkout, scan as a coupon and all the digital offers will apply. Hand the coupon to the cashier or attendant, and you can get your discounts.”

“My husband was being discharged around 9:40 p.m. from a nearby hospital after treatment for a very painful kidney stone, and I knew it was cutting it close to the pharmacy's closing time. We needed all five prescriptions that night, and by the time we made it back to our side of town, our regular pharmacy would have been closed.
I called Walgreens, explained the situation, and asked if there was any chance the prescriptions could be filled before closing. They kindly said they would do their best. To my surprise and relief, everything was ready by 9:58 p.m.
Elma, the pharmacist, went above and beyond. Her kindness, efficiency, and willingness to help during a stressful situation meant so much to us. We are incredibly grateful for the excellent service she provided.”

“I came here for photo prints and ended up placing two large orders because the quality turned out so good. My first order was 200 copies, and they looked great, so I placed a second order the next day for 800 copies.
The atmosphere both visits was cool, calm, and relaxed.
On my first pickup, the older gentleman who helped me and the woman who rang me up were wonderful — cheerful, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. It was a really pleasant experience.
The second visit was a little different. The prints were still done correctly and looked great, but the interaction felt more guarded at first. Once the transaction was paid for and completed, her demeanor noticeably lightened and became much warmer.
Overall, the print quality and turnaround were excellent, especially for larger orders. I would definitely recommend this location for photo printing based on the results.”
