From there, Kristen finalized my paperwork in her office. Wow! Thoughtful and professional is how I would describe Kristen. I had a video appointment that came about 45 minutes early while I was there and Kristen offered the empty conference room for me to take the call. I felt like I was at a friend or family member's home the whole time I was at this credit union. I left briefly to wrap up the video call and returned to complete my paperwork. I felt like Kristen was an old friend. I gave her a hug, thanked her, and she gave me 2 dog treats to give my dog, Maggie when I got home. Wes Jenkins, the manager, has created what reminds me of how banks operated before impersonal mega-banks started gobbling up our community banks. Wes and his team actually treated their clients like they were glad to see them and help them. Meg, a banker, has been helping me with my business account and personal accounts for years. She is always smiling, always helping, and just a joy to work with. Juliane, Dee, and Naji all know me by name and are just as willing to help when Wes or Meg aren't available.
I’ve built a great working relationship with this bank. If you are looking for a local customer-oriented place to bank, try them. I am glad I did. It's nice to know that there are still real bankers around who want to help me, not just their bottom line.”

“Amanda Moore is hands down the best. Every single problem i’ve ever had she has gone above and beyond. I had an issue with fraud, she was on it and would follow up with me as much as possible. Recently my card would decline while trying to make investments and i’ve reached out to someone in the Genisys Chat through the app and nothing was solved. I had done this 4 times until I went in and Amanda seemed to find the issue and got it solved so fast. Thank you again!”

“I have been a customer for 18 years, and have experienced some decently bad customer service when going into this location. I don't want to say I was profiled, but I was definitely treated different, on a few occasions when I went in.
The only reason I didn't cancel business with this credit union is because I've gotten comfortable with them, and normally handle everything online, so I would never have to deal with the people inhouse.
Today, I received exceptional treatment. I might add, the specialists in there today are different from the people I dealt with before (Thank God). I held off going into the branch as long as I could. Upon entering, Ms. Tracy was the most pleasant lady who greeted me and was going above and beyond (without even knowing I was annoyed to be in there) to answer the questions I had an provide solutions for my issues. Then, I got to Ms Joselyn, who furthered the experience by being attentive, explaining certain processes, and walking me through what I needed. I might have walked in with the biggest frown that I had to even go into the branch, but I left with a smile on my face, feeling appreciated as a customer. They might have just kept me for another 20 years.
