“Use those Kroger points and you can save on the gas prices that keep going up. Just be sure you have points to use because without using points Kroger gas is usually 5 cents higher than other gas stations around. This location has a few friendly attendants but there is also a few that should not be working with the public. This location is clean, well lit and generally busy and has plenty of pumps.”
“I have to tip my hat to the latest owner and operator of Goddard liquor store. There has been 2 other owners since I started shopping there as a kid and the previous owner was great and will always be remembered and loved by the neighborhood but I must say the neighborhood is lucky to have gotten the new owner. He cares not only about the service being A1 but also the store and the products being tip top. The store has tremendously improved on all aspects over the last 7 to 8 months. I've been shopping at this store since I was 14 years old and this is the best version it's ever been. Clean updated and new items coming in every week. Top selection of liquors as a liquor store should have. I recommend you come check it out for yourself if you're someone who quit coming after old man Sam retired, I'd bet you would be pleasantly surprised to see how much it has improved. The 2 employees I met were excellent and very friendly and I believe the younger guy was there for years as well and I received nothing but great service from them unlike the sunglass wearing guy that is no longer there anymore I believe. Don't take my word for it tho go see for yourself or don't. THANKS Samir for making my neighborhood store way better then anyone thought possible.”

“After encountering no mailing envelopes at a nearby Dollar Tree, I visited this Walmart Supercenter which was pleasant to see. Its location was tucked not far from Detroit Industrial Expressway out of sight; and its exterior design appeared like any other Walmart location. Maynard James Keenan (American singer) once quoted - "People have to follow their hearts, and if their hearts lead them to Wal-Mart, so be it."As an Illinoian who loves Big Ten college football, I loved the numerous Michigan Wolverine fan apparel stocked. If not for the unbearable prices, I would have likely purchased either a Michigan Wolverines or maybe even a Detroit Tigers t-shirt to take back with me to Chicago Illinois.Walmart ended up having the type of mailing envelopes I needed, plus more! I was shocked at the variety of bubble mailers stocked on shelf. Likely, I will make off-and-on trips to our Walmart in Chicago to purchase mailers since I am an avid shipper whether it be off of Poshmark or eBay.Another one of my purchases was a fleece since I had tossed my lightweight jacket during the Detroit Free Press Marathon. After seemingly an endless search through both the men's and women's sections I settled for a zip-up fleece jacket by George to wear on flight back to Chicago. Though I would have preferred black, it was the comfortable appearance that made it acceptable for me.Other than leaving this Walmart with a new desire to visit for mailing envelopes, I left in realization that even with self-checkout it does not help the checkout experience go faster because those machines are just not reliable. “Following the renovation this store now carries a huge selection of goods. It has a wonderful produce section, deli, and fresh seafood section which I shop several rimes a week. They carry lots of organic selections as well throughout the store. It also has a bank and pharmacy. My only complaint is that since the renovation I still have problems finding some items. Hours are 7am to midnight. I find that the best selection is available early in the day. This store is very popular and the parking lot is usually full from about 1pm to 7 or 8 pm.”
“They have turned this store into a great walmarts. I just don't like how they have done the clothing sections now. Seems like they barely have any clothes anymore. Other wise it's a good clean walmarts!”
