“I recently ordered two Tres Leches cakes for my two daughters that share the same birthday . . . one decorated in pink . . . one decorated in purple.The were the most beautiful cakes ever . . . way beyond our expectations!The real test was the taste . . . the most delicious strawberry flavor! Ourdaughter-in-law who was born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico said, "probably the best she has had!" “Had a nice little time here back in november of 2023 that I'll remember. Just lunch but it was delicious. Felt like we opened a door to a past time in history that can never be reclaimed but is somehow here. Like time stopped. The owner and his wife were extra nice and won't forget them. This place could be a movie set for old hollywood but you can actually buy things here. The best maple sugar candy I have had. Brands you just can't find anymore combined with the new. Antiques abound with a few showcases to walk around and basic needs articles too. BTW the door is on a tight spring so close it easily as to not disturb the peace there like I did. They sell liquor and wine by the bottle and have a little deli counter. If I could create my perfect world this place would be within two country blocks.”

“They have a great selection of different foods. They even have bison and venison (venison is ground only as far as I could see). They have a self serve jelly belly section, and also a bunch of other candies, that you can buy per lb. The prices over all are a bit more expensive than regular grocery stores, but you're paying for convenience.”

With that said, it is a great store to stop at on the way to a picnic at the lake or on the way home after a long day at work. “You see ad pop ups (which I detest) saying that Tom's Market is #1 in Traverse City.Personally, I believe most grocers are similarly priced to stay competitive with each other, and I get that.For the most part, I think the price of food is absolutely ridiculous! So, I guess if you are going to pay a premium price for your groceries, you should be able to expect top notch services, a clean and bright environment and service staff to match it.That's why you go to Tom's. You see, Tom's has that all day, everyday. And where your hard earned dollar is spent, should you not expect top notch a$ well?”

Produce is good, the bean salad is a great two dollar snack to eat healthy any time of the day.Sometimes there is a lack of spices like thyme, but that's a minor issue for the amazing prices on everything Aldi has. “Stopped in not knowing what to expect just based on the sign at the street advertising "pierogi." Was amazed with this place!Super cute shop with lots of imported grocery items and local stuff for sale. Very affordable prices!They make pierogi and kielbasa coins fresh and hot in store with one table for eating. Or you can purchase frozen pierogi to take home and enjoy. We did both. Also grabbed some hot paprika, terravita chocolate bars and whole caraway seeds for later.What a great little shop! We will definitely be back.”

“12/14/23- I stopped by because I like to visit the local grocery store when I travel. Tom's did not let me down.The store has an aisle dedicated to Michigan made merchandise. Honey, drinks, jams, salsas, peanut butter and lots of good foods. You'll also find souvenirs with a few clothing items.I had fun and the employees were great. Except the old lady stocking the Michigan shelf because I was taking pictures ?I also check the candy bar and chips section. That's where I found these Cherry Bbq chips. They taste like cherry with a little bit of bbq. If you like cherries I would try these. I don't like cherries ? that much but these are good.The store isn't crowded and I think it is because although they have self checkout they have plenty of cashiers for those who still like people. I was impressed. Friendly staff and the prices are reasonable to the other grocery stores. If I lived here I would shop here.”
