She was so kind and full of energy and even when we were on the fence about purchasing today her attitude never changed. “We on a whim stopped by La-Z-Boy after going to 6 different furniture companies that day. We got there at 5:50pm they close at 7:00 so we have 80 minutes to shop find and decide if anything is what we are looking for. Ms Loveland greeted us and explained that what we were looking for could be found on several different chairs (swivel glide) functions. We got 7/8 of the way through sitting on several seats. And finally she found one that was just right.
Again Ms Loveland explained we could order or take the showroom chair (wee need 2) so she got on the phone found an exact match and we signed the paperwork.
What a joy to work with someone that is very knowledgeable about the product they sell ….. refreshing.

“I absolutely love the staff at Downtown Garage! Anytime I need anything, they are my go-to guys. I go to them mainly for oil changes (support local, folks). Any questions I have, regarding mine or my family's vehicles, they provide the service, or find me a trustworthy, local shop to provide the service they don't offer. They are known in the community for offering honest, timely service. I recommend them to everyone because of the confidence I have that these guys are looking out for your best interests.”
“Monica greeted me at the store entrance and showed me all of the furniture I had looked at online. She picked out the perfect lamp to go with it and even had a measuring tape to help me with deciding on the right size end table. This was the best furniture buying experience I have had since I furnished my big house in NH. I took home several of her cards to pass out to other residents of my new apartment building since we are all downsizing in retirement. I highly recommend seeing Monica at Gardner White!”
“We went to to Bob's in Livonia on Middlebelt where we were helped by Curtis. We needed Counter height stools for today but they unfortunately did not have any to take home same day on Christmas Eve. Curtis was extremely nice and helpful and sent us to the novi outlet to find what we needed. We did not leave Novi empty handed! We walked out with 2 counter height stools 1/2 price from the damaged section. They're perfect. Saad was great he helped us pay and showed us some other items. Even the guys hauling around our furniture were extremely helpful. From Livonia to Novi such great service im so glad we stopped in for the first time and made the trip out to the other store! We are already planning the next trip for our bedroom set. Thank you guys so much. Great service and we love our furniture!”

“Clean store with friendly and helpful staff. My family was able to shop and feel comfortable here. I was hunting down some special items for a project and this location did not disappoint. The layout was different than other Hobby Lobby locations, but employees helped me locate what I was after. Excellent selection of pictures, too. Great canvas art, figures, statues, and even kitchen wares. Will visit again next time I'm in town.”
“The store was large and had a massive sale going on. The staff was very helpful asking me if I needed help every so often, I spent a lot of time there. There was so much ground to cover and I wanted to see everything! One thing that I was a little disappointed in is the lack of glassware for the kitchen. I was looking particularly for Pyrex containers to switch out my plastic containers and there were only individual ones, no sets. No fault of the staff, I would have expected a container store to have more container options for meal prep that do not involve plastics.”
“It is it's own niche. Not antiques of high value. Not a Salvation Army style or thrift store type of place (prices here too high for that). But....mostly old stuff of the kind you'd find on the street or a garage sale of a really old person or a junk yard back yard up north someplace or the garage collection of stuff from a person who would spend years collecting knowing it would be useful to 'someone someday'. Like the car door. That's the niche. Someone someday is going to grab that and be so thrilled and say "I remember when....." Then maybe they'll make a cool sign at The Barn to go with it with all the stencils they have for saying what's in your heart and mind. I liked the vibe of the place but didn't buy anything. They had lots of ceramic plant holders...which I often cruise for.... but $35 or so is not my personal niche price. But I did love the funky car door and thought it would make a cool piece of yard art with plants hanging all over it (in the Detroit Heidelberg style of decorating) and the entrance is extremely picturesque and a good hint to what's inside. You just might find it here.”

“My wife and I used Blossoms on Main for our wedding yesterday, as it was one of our venues preferred vendors. We met with Kelly with not one reference photo, specific flower or really any idea of what we wanted. We just told her what our wedding colors were and she asked us what some of our likes and dislikes were, but ultimately we let the amazing professional do what she does best which is put together beautiful flower arrangements. She was extremely responsive, professional and friendly throughout the months leading up to our big day. She was also very flexible and accommodating when we added a corsage and needed votive holders last minute. Kelly and her team showed up the day of and set-up all of our centerpieces, archway flowers and other decor throughout the space. With us not really knowing what type of arrangements we were getting (our choosing) were we completely blown away. They were everything we could have imagined plus some! I would 100% recommend Blossoms on Main and Kelly specifically! Thank you for really making our wedding beautiful. Also, their pricing was more than reasonable for the beautiful quality. “Super excited to find what I was looking for at a great price. This store has some excellent outdoor merchandise. Managed to find a three piece concrete dragon statue. Great artwork, statues and collectibles for reasonable prices. I wish I lived closer but it's worth the drive. Employees at checkout are courteous and helpful. They carefully wrap your purchases for protection too. Excellent location.”

“I am amending a previous negative review based on a rude sales clerk. That appears to have been a one off situation and all of my interactions with the staff there have been pretty great since that initial review. I do find that they have a great selection of herbs. I also had some reason to inquire about how to address issues with my herb garden and had a very knowledgeable staff member provide recommendations that ended up helping to improve the health of my garden. I am going back today to get some ideas about creating an indoor herb garden and hope to have the same positive experience.”

“I had a wonderful experience at Ashley furniture when I bought my Tempur-Pedic mattress. KJ Roberts was awesome! My daughter and I had come in over the holiday and tried some out, and when I came back 10 days or so later he remembered who I was and exactly what I was looking for and answered all my questions. “The weather was perfect for Fall, bright and sunny but also, brisk, and cool. Families seemed to agree as they gathered in downtown Northville; children ran pell-mell along the sidewalks. I was enjoying a cold beverage while ducking into the shops that lined the streets. Gardenviews, a white building with bright blue accents, stands out among the colorful buildings here. Inside, couples and friends browsed for the knick-knacks that personalize a home. I was struck by the beautiful displays: antique shelves, desks, and console tables upon which were dishes, candles, and home goods. I saw many things that I liked, toys for kids, hand towels with cute sayings, and garden accents, but I was here for a gift. My friend loves lavender and since I could not find a lavender tea that I thought she would like from a nearby spice store, I was determined to get a lavender room spray, candle, or soap as a thank-you for all her kindness. I don't deserve her as a friend. I found some beautifully wrapped, wonderfully-scented soaps, imported from Italy that I thought she would love. The store also gift wraps items, if requested.”

“If you are looking for almost anything for your home from furniture to decor to soft goods, this is the place. Huge but good signage and a map in the cart helps. Didn't find the items I came to get but I was being a little picky. Did find a chair I had wanted to find for months and a few other items. This place can be hard on the pocket book. Much better than Home Goods.”
