“I want to let everyone know about the amazing service and genuine kindness and willingness to help from the staff... in particular, Anita. (I am so sorry if I mis-spelled your name) - My father passed away last November, and my grandmother recently a few months ago... I have been catching up payments on things and she was so warm towards me the last time. Today I went in again with another teller and Anita saw me, remembered me from the last time, asked how I was, and when the hold times on the phone were taking longer than expected, she threw on an extra headset to help even though she was not the original person helping me with today's visit.
This kind of sincere effort truly deserves to be recognized in every manner, because it is this decency that seems to be more elusive to find each day. Anita, thank you - thank you to everyone at the LMCU 44th street location. I waited for about 45mins there while on hold (to no fault of anyone) waiting for another department authorization (busy Saturday) but never realized the time until I got back to my car because of how much I was noticing the staff's efforts to try and make my experience smoother and quicker - in particular Anita's.

“While I was away on vacation last week, unfortunately, I misplaced my debit card the day before we left to come back home. I went to the bank once we arrived home, and at the first branch I went to, their card machine was down. After numerous attempts to make me a new card, they called over to a nearby branch and let me know that their card machine was working. Perfect – I went on my way! I got to the next branch (metro), and apparently, it was a whole company-wide system glitch, so no one’s card machines were running. I was about to leave, and one of the tellers (I am SO sorry I forgot her name!) said, “Wait! We just got an email that the glitch has been fixed! I can make you a new debit card!” I was so excited and grateful (because I was planning to go home for a few hours and go back later that afternoon). The teller made my card quickly and professionally, and was as kind as they come. Addressing me by name, asking how my day was going between lulls, and apologizing for the initial experience with the card machine. She gave me my card, I thanked her for her great customer service and help, and I was sent on my way. Starving, I ran across the street to grab a quick bite, and when I went to pay… my brand-new card was declined…Luckily, I had cash, so I paid and ran right back to the bank. But still, a little snag in my day. I walked in, and the same teller smiled at me and said, “Well, well, welcome back!” Right there, she put me in a decent mood even though I was annoyed that I had to return. I told her my card declined, and I was curious why that was. She did some research on her end, and with no reason as to why, she then ended up having to call Customer Care. While she was doing that, she offered me a spot in their waiting area, told me I could grab a water or make a coffee, and that she would check in soon. While I didn’t need a beverage, she was still so warm and welcoming that I couldn’t even be upset. She followed through and did what she said she would do, and checked in on me, saying it shouldn’t be too much longer. When she was finished talking with Customer Care (IT), there was another glitch. When my new card was made, it showed an error (even so small that she wouldn’t have even caught it the first time around). I then waited for yet another card to be made. Before I could even get the new card in my hand, the teller said, “I want to test this card first to ensure it works properly. While you have been so patient and pleasant, I am sure you don’t want to come back a third time.” She had me go to the ATM in the entrance, and sure enough, it worked! I thanked her many times, praised her again for her readiness to help, and thanked her for keeping me happy even in a very impatient time.”

“I want to give a major shout out to this branch! I recently opened an account and had been waiting on my bank card. Of course I’m a last minute type of gal and needed asap. It still hadn’t come in the mail the day before I absolutely needed it. I called this branch 15 min before they closed and headed there. They printed a card for me and were so kind to help me out. I got there as fast as they could but they told me to take my time and drive safe they’d be there to help when I got there. BIG KUDDOS TO THE CLYDE PARK BRANCH!!! Thank you!!”

“I always have a good experience at Bank of America. Today I was helped by Marcy P. I was having an absolutely horrible day and she turned a massively stressful day around for me. She greeted me immediately and was so patient with my overwhelmed state. I left feeling seen and important. I never wait in lines and am always greeted by multiple employees when I enter.
I visit both this branch and the Michigan Street branch and have never been disappointed by customer service. It is some of the most attentive customer service I’ve received in all branches of business. I truly feel like management has taken the time to instill the importance of customized client care and customer first service. In this day and age it’s noticed and appreciated.”

“I went in to have a document notarized and the manager, Kelly Day was able to get me right in and notarize the documents with both the seal and stamp (my documents needed both) quickly and efficiently. I had my children with me and Kelly gave them sunglasses and lollipops, they still love to wear their sunglasses from Ms Kelly! Not only did Kelly take her time to actually talk and get to know us, but so did her staff! Everyone made us feel so welcome and like we were family.”
