“Very clean, well stocked store. I bought the Cub foods fried chicken, which is tasty by itself. However, I wanted spicy. I bought it. What I found was that the spicy seasoning that is put on the chicken was unevenly distributed. So there were parts that were spicy and parts that weren't. They may want to try a different method of spreading the spice. I really like the smell of fresh popcorn in the store. They also have the Chicago mix(butter, cheese and caramel) which is alot, and I mean alot better than the Chicago mix you get from Candyland.”

“I got a pound of mascarpone for $6.99 here which is way cheaper than Cub and even a little cheaper than Walmart. Plus nice to only have one big container to deal with instead of a bunch of little ones. I buy halloumi and spices here sometimes too. Every time I go I see something interesting I want to try out, like pumpernickel bread or spicy canned fish.”

“I love the deli case at the nice time market. They also have a great selection of ice cream from Bridgemans and local eggs. A lot of their seasonal produce is organic and much less expensive as supposed to the Co-op. Oh, and there made fresh sandwiches are delicious for lunch.”

“First, if you've never been to Trader Joe's just go... GO! Nuff said there.

This is a big and well-staffed TJs. Excellent selection of fresh and frozen foods. My favorites are the pre-made salads and frozen international foods.

Oh, and candy. Above the frozen foods rows of the most amazing selection of candy from around the world. ?”

“I came in for lunch.
I had a very nice turkey panini and a cup of coffee.
Staff was very attentive and friendly.
They listened to this old guy talk about his life without seeming bored or uninterested.
I will be coming here again for lunch when I work in the area again.”

“It's trader Joe's. If you know than you know. They have a charbroil chicken teriyaki in the freezer section that is better than most restaurants. So many great things to list”

“No, you don't understand. This is the best bodega. Their philly slaps, they carry RC cola and strawberry Arizona arnie palmer. Their prices are fair and they are friendly. This is the spot to go.”

“Only place I will go! No matter what neighborhood I live in. This will forever be my shop. Started going here after moving into area because my daughter who used to live nearby said they always treated her like fam from day one. She was spot on! From the moment you walk in. The greeting from the cuddly cats who claim it has their home (and the owner who is almost always on site), the selection, the prices, the old ‘mom and pop’ customer service.. be kind to them and they will know your name by your second visit, they make you feel truly valued just for coming in.. the kind of place you go not just because of the product, but because of the amazing energy!”

“My wife and I visited Addis Market as part of making sure we have ingredients for cooking Ethiopian food at home. The store keeper is very friendly and helpful with beginner questions. The market has a good variety of lentils and spices and two kinds of electric mitads (griddles for cooking injera) and a variety of Ethiopian coffee and prepared injera and Ethiopian wheat loaves. We will visit again.”

“Buying locally made breakfast sausage and selecting a coffee for friends coming to town. Lots of choices and it just feels like home. A calm and tidy place with good selection and specialties. It just feels like NE which, to me, is home.

“Between this place and Tim and Tom’s, St. Anthony Park has absolutely nailed the adorable, community-driven, grocery vibe. Excellent selection for the size, nice to go items, lovely staff, easy enough parking, and prices are competitive for a co-op. I love that stops at Hampden are a regular part of my week.”

“This is an extremely efficient Korean shop. They have some homemade kimchi that is top notch for the people of the Caucasian persuasion. Not as spicy as most people like. But you can eat a lot of it at once. Haha. The other goods here decently priced for being imported and there are some unique buys. Seems to be family-owned.”

The prices are very reasonable compared to the excellent quality. What impressed me the most was the staff — they were friendly, helpful, and always eager to make customers happy. “One of my go tos in the area, and a destination for middle eastern in the twin citie. Service is warm and hospitable even if the takeout window is perpetually busy. Try dining in for a more relaxed experience - they always give us something extra when we do (soup, dessert, extra bread). Make sure you stop by the grocery store - the fresh olives, labneh and fresh bread corner are outstanding. The freshly made injera iraqi tandoor bread are always in my basket”

“Great store! You never know what you're going to find here, but I promise you will always find something! They offer dry groceries, cooler groceries, and frozen groceries! With grocery store prices rising, this should be the place you stop before heading to a big box store! Staff is always friendly and store is always clean! Love this hidden gem!”

“In a world of giant grocery stores, Tim & Tom's Speedy Market reminds you why neighborhood markets still matter. Friendly faces, great grab-and-go meals, quality produce, and the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit.”

“I've been a member for years and I generally really enjoy shopping here.

That said, I just witnessed a front end coordinator who was in the store shopping open up a checkout lane for himself despite the fact that there were several people waiting at the one checkout that was open.

He just ignored the line of people and plopped his groceries down at another lane and then an employee showed up and started checking him out.

The person behind me saw what happened and kindly let me go ahead of her at the newly opened checkout lane because I had been waiting longer than she had.

Abusing your leadership position to get special treatment is poor leadership.”

“We usually go to the Nokomis branch but saw the main store last week when they had a special sale event. There's a huge selection of earth-friendly goods and staples there, all of what the smaller store has plus more. We chatted with the staff who were very friendly and offered advice about the beeswax wrap I bought to try out. I'd recommend either store to anyone concerned with the environment and sustainability. Yes, you'll pay a bit more but it's worth it to know you're doing your part for the planet.”
