Chuck & Don's Pet Food & Supplies
8537 Lyndale Ave S, BloomingtonWe have the 1 year Self Wash program and I have really liked using that service. Now that they have switched the tubs to the stainless steel ones, my hubby with his bad back can even help wash the crew! These new tubs are amazing and the pressure on the water is fantastic, it cut the bath time in half. I noticed that the Aussie Coat wasn't flying all over when we were blow drying, I assume that is because the water blasted it all out! Great Upgrade, thank you!

Dogtopia of Bloomington
5208 W 84th St, BloomingtonI’ve been taking my dog Xella to Dogtopia for about 6 months now. She is obsessed with going there. Loves getting to play with all her friends and the staff are welcoming and very nice. She’s a husky/lab mix with a lot of energy, and comes home tired every time. We love Dogtopia!

Pet Care
Bush Lake Pet Hospital
7700 W Old Shakopee Rd # 170, BloomingtonCan't say enough good things about Bush Lake Pet Hospital or France Avenue Pet Hospital. I've taken both my dogs here for over 5 years. I think their pricing is more than fair and they genuinely seem to care about my pets. I would highly recommend checking them out if you're in need of a vet.

VCA Bloomington Animal Hospital
8830 Lyndale Ave S, BloomingtonI always feel so welcomed by Claudia at the front desk every single time I come to VCA, I look forward to seeing her when I come in, she is always so kind and welcoming. All the staff are phenomenal from the phone, front office, techs and vets. I have been coming to VCA for 5 years now and the only negative connotation I have about the entire facility is the prices, they exceed other vet offices tenfold and I end up taking the actual procedure elsewhere for a lot of services I’ve been quoted by them because of this. It’s really unfortunate they don’t have more reasonable pricing as I have received nothing but phenomenal care for my animals.

Pet Sitting & Training
Bloomington Obedience Training Club
8127 Pleasant Ave S, BloomingtonI am on week 9 of Flyball class with BOTC and honestly can't say enough good things. There was a waitlist to get started and it was well worth waiting.I dawdled a lot to start class because her biggest quirk from when I got her at 8 months old is an aversion of going through doorways and entering buildings. It is particularly bad when involving places that dogs frequent. We have worked a lot on building her confidence (no pun intended) but dog-centric indoor spaces are still a big challenge for her. I didn't want to ruin her confidence by trying to engage her in a class to early. However, within the first 2-3 classes she was completely comfortable with going to and from the building and she earnestly looks forward to class now.The class is small and tailored to each dog's level and strengths. The instructors not only care about teaching Flyball, but also are thoughtful about how the sport affects your dog's health overall. I was very impressed seeing how they handle their younger dogs with respect to their development and longevity. I am on the waitlist to start agility as well. I was told it may take 6 months, but if the agility instructors have the same consideration and passion about fostering my dog's well being as the Flyball team does, then I wouldn't dream of going elsewhere.

NorthStar Tavern
5101 W 98th St, BloomingtonMy daughter and I went out to a quick dinner on a Friday night. She got the nachos ( and fixings on the side) and I got the smash burger with the sweet potato tots. There was a generous amount of nachos in fact she took more than half of it home. They were super light and crispy which she has never had before. The smashburger that I had was phenomenal the sweet potato tots were on point. Since my daughter is by choice gluten free ( not celiacs) she ordered the chocolate cake as well..while it was good it did have a slightly unusual back end flavor which she didn't care for. The cake was still good in my option. Our service was great as well.im sure we will be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free optionsParking: Plenty of spaceWheelchair accessibility: 1 level space available
