“I wasn't living here when the department store was around so I have no frame of reference to say how great or not so great it is.
On its own, I will say that it is a beautiful and nostalgic look back - for people to discover for the first time AND for others to rekindle old memories of their former selves.
It's apparent that Daytons was a very important institution to the Twin Cities and I have been enjoying the sometimes whimsicle reimagining of those times back then.”
“Amazing Grocery locationVery popular And Very Busy. They have a good selection of foodThey have a Bakery there, and a tall woman with a hijab was very helpful to assist me in finding a specific type of bread i wanted, she went as far as to walk over and pick up the loaf and hand it to me; kudos to her ?.The produce is as good as it gets at any target store i have been to in my life, there is a wide variety of fruit and vegetables, more than at other Targets.Parking is hard here, try not to get run over while going inside/ thats not on the store, it is the customers! The breads, bagels, donuts and other pasteries are exceedingly good at this location by comparison. There is a drive-thru for picking up items, so in the future I hope to try 150 this feature out. This grocery is its own store and in its own parking lot, but its so busy they couldn't possibly share the area with another store.I had a good experience and I will be coming back again soon to get more food items. Thank you for providing a good grocery option.”
“I live in downtown and I love having a Target that I can walk to. The store is not as big as a suburban Target. But they still have a good selection and carry most of the things I want. Plus the escalator for the shopping carts is fun to watch.”
“It is a smaller Target. So sometimes the selection is smaller than a Target Greatland. That has not been an issue for me. In a smaller Target you have a better chance of getting to know the staff. They greet you on sight and possibly provide better service.”
“It's southside lake street and people are happy to have a target store in the community, its very safe and security is on post as well as MPD posted i. The parking lot during business hours from the first person there to the last person. Shopping leather parking lot, presidential safe.”
“I want to give a big thank you to one of the team members at Target (I believe his name was Joshua) who went above and beyond to help my mom during her visit. Even though there was clearly a language barrier he was incredibly patient, kind, and respectful. He took the time to understand what she was looking for and made sure she got the help she needed. which resulted in a successful shopping trip ? It meant a lot to both of us, and we truly appreciate his effort and empathy. Excellent customer service!”
“They’re doing Much better in every category the security is amazing top-notch respectful yet firm shop stocked not sure about the checkout one of em but nonetheless, this isn’t the Burlington I knew a few years ago!”
“TARGET NE MPLS HAS THE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GREAT EMPLOYEES AND AWESOME LOCATION BUT WALMART ARE WAY OUT IN THE SUBURBS TO WHERE LOT OF US DONT WANT TO TRAVELAND THE QUARRY SHOPPING CENTER HAS EVERYTHING RIGHT THERE ALSO A CUB FOODS A STARBUCKS COFFEE AND SO MUCH MORE”
“I went to the MOA store on Friday and I had an unusual request. The sales associate wasn’t sure how to help and called a manager. Not one but two managers came to help. They were very accommodating and patient with me. Unfortunately I didn’t get their names. Just wanted to leave a positive review and say thank you.”
“Interesting, not sure exactly what is all there but the target store was nice and multi-leveled. Stopped by to get supplies during a recent and brief stay in Minneapolis.”
“Omg. More home goods next to another home goods store. Lots of high end tea and beeswax candles. They smell great. Problem with this place is it puts my wife in a small tizy. She wants to buy a dish for caviar. That’s a future budget problem imho. Sure it’s $20 bucks today but with the caviar prices these days, I’ll never retire. My sister has 3 kids (we’ve got none) and I know about costs.
Solid selection of towels, glassware and soaps. Highly recommend a visit (if you can avoid the caviar dish).”
