“Came in today to look for individual pokemon cards for/with my son. My son was super excited and the store did not disappoint. There is a large selection of bulk and decent selection of mega/ex cards at a decent price. There’s also a decent selection of booster packs just slightly over msrp. My son gets pretty excited with Pokemon cards and can be very talkative; Dan was awesome talking about the store and their events and helping out my son. We will definitely be back!”
“My mom gave my son a gift card here for his 2nd birthday & MAC was very patient with us as we went through building our car with our little 2 year old. He went over everything thoroughly and took his time with letting us know our options and pricing if we wanted to up-charge anything. I forgot to grab the other lady name that was working that day with him, but she was very nice and helpful as well. And she was also very warming and making my son feel comfortable.”
“Of course my family and I had to stop at the LEGO store during our visit to the Mall of America! My 5yo son picked out a build-your-own minifig set and we loved the giant Lego displays above the store; the helicopter and Gundam are especially incredible! You can buy pretty much any themed Lego set here, including Star Wars, Harry Potter, Back to the Future, Lord of the Rings and way more. They also have a free play area where kids can tinker. A MUST visit for anyone ages 8-88!”
“Pinwheels & Play Toys is hands down my favorite toy store in Minnesota! The owner always has the BEST variety of toys, squishies, games, and unique gifts you can’t find anywhere else. Every time I go in, I end up finding something fun for kids, teens, and even adults. The store is colorful, welcoming, and full of amazing finds. You can tell so much care goes into choosing the inventory. The owner (Brady) and his employees are always so welcoming & ready to help in any way they can! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for the perfect gift or just want a fun shopping experience!”

They were also very accommodating with the delivery date, which I really appreciated. Communication throughout the process was quick, clear, and very professional. “Who doesn't like Barnes and Noble for your book and coffee needs? This location has always done a good job about having the product we want in stock and if not they'll have it delivered to there location for pick up. Also the Baristas in the Starbucks are always very nice and respectful with the coffee being delicious as always! 10/10!”
“Very cool, very unique record store with TONS of killer collectibles. There are figures, statues, playsets, lunchboxes, etc, etc, that you never knew existed. And while the prices seem a little high on some things, the only place you can find similar items would be online. Definitely check out Mr Zero's!”

“Games by James is legit. These days, I find myself struggling to coordinate the people and time to play games like I used to. But in this store, I was inspired.
Time will tell if it comes to fruition, but seeing a collection that is passionate, complete, and inviting reminds me of how much fun it is to be into board games.
They've got staples: party games, dice games, card games, classics. But where they really shine are the local games and modern board games. They have something for everyone, from simple to learn ones to games that become all day events.

“Sweets is my go to when it comes to kendamas. I ordered online and left a note asking if they could give me a well balanced kendama for the one I was ordering and they did! They left me the specs of the dama on my packing slip and gave me some candy too! Shout out to the sweets team for spreading the love really do appreciate it!”
“We have only been to this location once but had a great experience. They have a large space to sit down and play games. They carry cards, comics, games, and more. There comic section is large than other locations and they carry back issues! We were pleasantly surprised when we came in and they had tons of comic bundles and discounted issues. We were able to find a few new series to check out. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back to this location in the future!”

“Now in a new and much bigger store, this spot feels like a toy-and-game galaxy calling every wandering Padawan inside. “I had the most positive experience here thanks to Mia on Monday, 6/15/26. I called them, upon the suggestion of a nearby business who didn't have what I was looking for, and Mia went out of her way to help me. I was looking for a very unique item - a lobster stuffed animal - as a gift and I had called/gone to at least twenty other places. To my surprise, Kiddywampus had exactly what I was looking for. Upon telling Mia what I was looking for, she told me they had two lobster stuffed animals, she described them to me, and sent pictures of them to my cell phone. This sealed the deal! I told Mia which one I wanted and I drove to the store to pick it up - and they had it waiting for me behind the counter. When I arrived, Mia and her two colleagues were extremely friendly and helpful. I shared with them how much I enjoyed being in this part of Hopkins this day (I rarely am in that area) and they told me about some of the fun community events that take place in the city. I will very possibly be back for the upcoming raspberry festival thanks to Mia and her co-workers. They are great ambassadors for Kiddywampus and for the city of Hopkins.”

I encourage you to acknowledge this mans efforts, my suggestion, get him tickets to see starwars preformed live by the Minnesota Orchestra, they play the movie on a big screen behind the orchestra. “Today is Thursday, August 7th 2025. I walked into this establishment and I was greeted it immediately with smiles. I had the most wonderful experience here. The 2 ladies I never got their names they were both wonderful to me. I didn't buy anything there but..... they restuffed my Glaceon (I named her Crystal). They were (SUPER) friendly. “The placement of this store right next to the food court is very dangerous for our family budget, haha. It's a favorite stop for both our kids and us. Lots to choose from, very knowledgeable staff. We've found some new family favorites there either by browsing or asking for recs. When we branched into DnD as a family, they had a lot of good advice.”
“It has basically most of the books you will want to read in different genres, kid's section well equipped reading tables well arranged. They even have Starbucks for you favorite drinks. Outside they have a humble parking too with wheel chair access too.”
“Brought our kids here to get their ears pierced for the first time. There was only one employee working at the time, but she was fantastic. She did a great job at managing both the register and us and had a great attitude the whole time. She made the experience great for my kids and engaged with them well.
