“I do not write reviews very often, however I did need to write this one. At check in, our front desk attendant was not very friendly. Which was disappointing to say the least. After checking in, we make it to our room and the room had this extremely musty/mildew smell, to which we mentioned and ended up getting a room change. Our second room was fine, until we had to use the bathroom. The toilet was clogged and I, myself, tried to plunge it, because that's not a huge deal to me. However, it wouldn't unclog after trying to plunge it. So we asked our front desk attendant for another room and when they proceeded to give us another room, they rolled their eyes. Guests roamed the halls the entire night. Someone stole my vape, and after checking out the next morning and going back home, I noticed that I left my AirPod Pros at the hotel inside of the room. I called the housekeeping manager the very same day and she told me she would have a look and call me back. She never called me back.overall, this was by far one of the worst experiences at a hotel, that I've stayed with. Definitely will not being staying here again.If you want a budget friendly hotel, keep looking. Unless you're ok with running the possibility of your belongings coming up missing and the hospitality towards you, at the bare minimum.Rooms: Since the hotel is pet friendly, the chairs were a bit run down. There were chips and dents on the mirror next to the bathroom.Nearby activities: 8/10Walkability: 8/10Food & drinks: 8/10”

“Our day was a DREAM at Machine Shop! We could not have asked for more caring and attentive staff. They accommodated several special requests and worked hard to help me realize my vision. Working with Lauren was awesome - it felt like I was working with a friend and she went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. Our day went off without a hitch thanks to the staff, security, and bartenders. We could not recommend Machine Shop enough for your wedding or event!”

“I ordered the seared seabass and it was excellent. The only thing that would have made it better is if there had been a vegetable. While rice and fish are good, it would have been complete with a little veggie. When I made the reservation I said the special occasion was our anniversary. The server either didn't know that, or forgot it until I mentioned it when she was about to give us our bill. She quickly brought us a glass of champagne, but that wasn't the time for it.”

“Great brewery! Tasty beer, friendly staff, large and comfortable space. I really like the overall atmosphere, and it's in a cool and convenient location. They also host various events like cribbage and trivia and have rotating food trucks. It's a great place for meeting up with friends and I'll definitely be back!”

“Urban Growler did not disappoint. We were there for a paint your pet fundraiser and were upstairs in the event space. The staff was very nice, taking food and beverage requests for the group and delivering them upstairs. I appreciated the time one of the employees took to answer my many questions about the beer and seltzer options. I chose the Growling Mule, which was delicious. The space was welcoming, bathroom was clean, with the biggest win being the option of food at the brewery. I posted multiple pictures of the outside space and of The Barrel Room. We enjoyed our first visit and will plan on returning soon!”

“We hosted a corporate luncheon at Warehouse Winery & the space was perfect for our group. We loved the eclectic design of the space and that we could partition off different areas for different needs, from a gathering area to the dining space. The AV equipment onsite was just right for our presentation and the venue manager was really easy to work with and accommodating to our last-minute needs. I would be concerned with parking if we had more than 50 people, but for our group there were enough spaces available along the street and businesses to fit.”

“OMG, everything about this place speaks quality. This place is clean, and has a great atmosphere. When our food came, all that was heard from my wife & I was compliments & noises of satisfaction. It was one of the tastiest meals we have had in a long time. They really know how to season their food, it was AMAZING!!!It was so good, we ordered a duplicate order to take home, so our family could try it. We had the chicken soup & chicken cranberry wraps.Dietary restrictions: They use grass fed beef, organic chicken, dairy free, gluten free. Exceptional place & they will work with you to find food to fit your restrictions.”

“Got invited to a family gathering that was happening in Football Pizza. I’ve never heard of this joint but sense that day’ I’ve been a fan! They did not disappoint when they said the “Pizza is great here” I’ve always loved pizza, to top it off the Fresh Topping they use is surreal! Definitely recommend ordering here for next Game Day! “I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I booked VR playtime for my son, but we had a great time! The overall vibe of the place was fun, and the employees were very nice and helpful. Yeah, we could just play on a VR headset in our basement but it was more communal and fun being at REM5.I was also surprised that our food was quite good! Since this place is first and foremost a VR playground, I expected the food to be barely passing. Instead, everything was pretty solid! We had waffle fries, mini donuts, and pizza.If you want to try out VR or have a fun night with friends, your kids, your coworkers... I'd definitely hit this place up!”

“I love the ambiance at this place. It's great for both date nights and/or group fine dining experience. My favorite is their Salsa sampler/flight. Food and drinks are a bit on the pricey side but I'd say it's pretty worth it. Great service too.”

“I come down to the river rats water ski show about once a year. You really have to come about an hour to 45 minutes early to get *A* parking spot! If you have the blue accessibility parking thing I can't remember what it's called to come up but it hangs from my mirror) there's a parking lot for you, across the street from the show. But you have to have the blue parking thing. There are Porta potties, the show is, the viewing is on a hill so there's plenty of seating, you have to bring a chair like a camping chair, snacks, beverages, but they also do sell like I think, hot dogs, chips, water that sort of thing, and that money does go to the river rats. About halfway through the show they do collect money, they will be wearing THEIR OUTFITS , so make sure you are ONLY giving money to the RIVER RATS people they come in droves and will be carrying buckets. I usually give them a couple of bucks.”

“My wife and I just had our wedding reception here and Perfect is the only word that kept coming to mind when I started trying to sum up my experience. However everything was too good to accurately describe with the word perfect. Setting up our event was totally stress free. The staff was so professional and helpful and kind. I could keep going but I want to get to the food before you get bored and stop reading. It was roll your eyes back into your head delicious. And we kept our menu simple. “I highly recommend magnolia blossom cruises for your wedding venue! We got married on 8/26, and it was an absolute dream! Everyone that attended our party wished it never ended! They accommodated us more than we could have ever asked for! We forgot our boquets in the car, and the staff made me a make shift one on the fly so I would have one! They have music throughout the boat and accommodations to make sure your phone is hooked up. The staff made sure everything was taken care of, and I didn't need to worry about a thing!! The food was delicious - the sandwiches were an absolute hit at the after party, and so many compliments! I wish I could get married again just to experience the boat again. Also, captain Dan was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. He communication so well!!”

“I attended a health convention this summer, so I got to the convention for the first time. Even though I was staying on the St. Paul side of town, I was amazed at the size of the convention center at the other end of the Twin City. It was really clean. Unlike some stadium I've been in to watch games, it was clean throughout, as I say cleaning staff making sure things were working okay. The tech staff were working hard in the background in between presentations- you really saw them except during breaks. They really made the transition between the different events seamless. Definitely one of the best convention sites I've ever been to. If you have an event here with your company/organization, it is definitely a place to go to if you're a convention-goer.”

“I stopped in to buy a couple of gift and had a phenomenal experience. The store is set up for tasting many different flavors of oil and vinegar. Then, if you want to buy a bottle(or 5), the staff will fill up a bottle for you right there and package it. My personal favorite was the dark chocolate vinaigrette - it blows my mind that balsamic vinegar can taste like that. There's no going back to normal store bought vinaigrettes after you've been here!”

“How do you review something so timeless. As a little one I came here frequently with my family and I would get so excited I would make myself sick! (Or so they say, I probably have issues with crowds or something). Anyway, I started volunteering in the vet med area in 2023 and I am so glad to be back - I actually kind of preferred walking around by myself! I am glad they've been getting more vegan options. I was there in 2019 to see Brandi Carlile and that was my first time Grand Standing it. Always so much to do and so little time!”

“Four Points by Sheraton Hotel I must say it's a very well managed place to spend your time, to have some days to yourself or traveling. Customer service is excellent. The hotel is very clean, organized and it feels at home. Comfortable cozy. It has a social room that's comfortable to sit and watch TV of your choice and lounge if you feel like getting out of your room .The rooms have a great selection on TV to watch, shampoo and conditioner and body wash in case you forget Yours, great showers. Good combinations are superb. Breakfast in the morning, and if you have the munchies or need a snack or thirsty... by the front desk, pick and choose and pay at the desk.There is even a workout room with treadmills, ellipticals, cycles and weights along with a beautiful pool and jacuzzi. What can get better than that? It is affordable and the location is fantastic!! I was extremely happy and will be back again.”
