“I always pop in a few times a week, and always feel like I'm just borrowing a cup of sugar from a friendly neighbor. I'm super close, so if i need a Gatorade or a Ginger drink if I'm feeling off, even some American cheese if i run out, i just walk down. Love my service from the smoke shop too, never felt like my money wasn't going to a good cause. Haven't had service from anyone who treated me poorly, and I just feel that if yall are polite to the workers, they'll be just as appreciative of and nice to you.”

We love the happy hour at the markwt grill/whalburger. Lots of good happy hour choices. They used to have a monthly drink that was a treat l, but I think they have daily deals now.”

“I recently moved to the neighborhood and I am blessed to have such a great one stop shop so close. I can't tell you how many times I've barely had the energy to walk to the store and get something to eat, especially in the summer months when it was extremely hot, and the kind, courteous, cheerful conversations with the group of people who work here have definitely helped me more than I can put into words. Extremely understanding and very hard working, I just am truly grateful to be able to shop here and I've been extremely lucky with the scratch offs, I must admit! Great store, great people I highly recommend if you are in the area. Great if your walking or on the bus.”
“Yes, hyvee prices are higher than nearby competitors (this is my main draw back and why I'm rating the store only four stars). However, the store has a much wider selection. Take for example today when I needed a small salmon fillet. I checked at an unspecified nearby grocery store with considerably lower prices, but was unable to find what I needed. Any other day I would have found an alternative to save me the trip to another store, but with a wild adolescent weasel roaming my basement, I was not willing to risk it. Thankfully Hyvee had exactly what I needed-4oz salmon fillets are sold at their seafood counter! (fingers crossed the salmon works. Otherwise I'll need to find another way to lure out the vermin) One things for sure, next time I have to get bait for a wild animal in my house, I'll save myself the time and go to hyvee right away!”

“I stop regularly at all times of day and the middle of night. They always had what I needed from snacks to coffee.
But last weekend I also needed a wash. I got the top one. This is hands down the best wash I have ever had. After 3000 miles I pulled in and I used the brush to presoak the bugs. A week later the water is still beading like I waxed by hand! Never ever have experienced this before. This wash is 5 Star”

Today I had a lady named Daria ( I think) and I asked her were her accent was from and she said the Ukraine. She was super sweet and very personable. We have a Ukrainian church right next to our house and are ever updated on everything that’s been going on in her country. High five to her! “I want to give a huge shout out to the young gentleman (Tristen I believe was his name). I needed to check my engine oil and was having a hard time opening the hood to my car. After a couple of minutes struggling he came out of the building to help me out. He was professional, friendly and opened up my hood with ease. He also showed me all I needed to do was lift up instead of trying to move the handle left or right. I was so impressed with this young man. I gave him a hug, (I asked first) you just don't see much of this anymore. Whatever you do with your life young man, never forget how much of a impact going the extra mile makes in some ones life.
