“I have purchased shoes primarily from outlet stores in the past, and I was impressed at the quality of service and products Fleet Feet offers compared to those discount stores. It's a completely different experience.
You may have to wait in a queue as it's customer based service and there may be a few people ahead of you. It's totally worth it though.
They scan your feet first for free, to get a much more precise idea of size, fit, and support. Next they sit down with you and have you try on a few different options and encourage you to walk around with them and compare/contrast. I never felt rushed. They even happily scanned my wife's feet even though she wasn't getting fitted for shoes!
Keep in mind this is more of a running/athlete specialty store, so you can't expect to see a myriad of brands and styles. But if you're simply looking for a quality running/walking/comfortable shoe, this is the place to go!”

I recently bought a new used bike and despite ordering the proper tools, the pedals would just not budge. I brought the bike in and Chris and several other colleagues jumped right in to help me. “This review is long overdue... I've been going to Racketman for over 15 yrs due to my daughter being heavily involved in tennis. So we have been in there quite frequently over the years and I have never once left disappointed. Jim (the owner) is a great guy and always willing to help with advice on anything and everything tennis related. And the rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful as well. It's just a really great place with great inventory and great people. There are very few businesses anymore that truly earn the loyalty of their customers on an ongoing basis... Racketman does.”

Only feedback would be why not have Veterans discount? “I cannot say enough good things about OMG and Coach Yama! Our daughter has taken about a dozen private lessons with him and her skills have exponentially improved. Coach Yama is so patient and really makes sure the players have correct form and technique. It’s more than a typical soccer practice - he covers strength, speed, agility, precision and performance. Our daughter wasn’t able to play competitively for several months due to medical reasons so we originally planned on taking lessons as an outlet for her love of the game but we’ve continued with the lessons even now that she’s able to play competitively again because we’ve seen so much improvement and she loves it!”
“We used classic carpentry when we completely redid our kitchen 3 years ago. Jim was very professional, timely and the craftsmanship is awesome. We absolutely love our new kitchen, the cabinets they built are classic and timeless. Jim took my dreams and ideas and was able to make them come true. I especially love the 2 sided bar they built for us. One side is countertop height in the kitchen and the other side is bar height, they used gorgeous seeded glass in the doors so we could show off our platters and wine glasses. Still, 3 years later, everyone who comes to our house complements our kitchen... Especially the cabinets!”
“This place is a LIFE SAVER if you have a kid playing a sport!! PHEWWWWW thank goodness... Let me tell you this place is not the closest BUT its helpful and cheaper than DICKS or ACADEMY so dont count them out! They are off the parkway and the parking is open and easy to get in and out!!! The store itself is spacious and offers A LOT of supplies for your sport needs...I needed a pair of football pants for a BIG guy and no other store had the size I needed but THANKFULLY I found them here and at a fraction of the price I paid for a girdle in DICKS... wish I would have known about this place before I TORE OUT MOST OF MY HAIR lol When I called and asked the nice lady who answered the phone for help she was quick and efficient.. She let me know they had what I needed I told her I would be RIGHT THERE!!! and quess what?? She had them waiting for me and I didnt even ask her to do that!!! Hows that for customer service!!!! I adore a great customer service rep! and she will NEVER know how much I appreciated her for the help...SO I say all this to say ...if you need some sports gear...TRY HERE FIRST...this place just might save you some much needed spending money..especially durning Christmas time!!!
