“After trying a pair of Hokas that I didn't like for a couple months, I had to go back to old reliable New Balance and this store is the right place to go. I've been to many different stores over the years and my conclusion is you need to go to a dedicated NB store for your purchase. I've been to this store 3 times and one thing you can count on when going to a NB store is the knowledge of their staff. My salesperson got me the right size shoe of the model I wanted and the correct insole for my high instep. I left their a happy camper and will go back for my next pair.”

“Thanksgiving weekend was my first time shopping here. Upon entering, I was struck by the airy, bright yet understated interior--in other words, a preppy paradise. J. McLaughlin offers clothing for men, women, and kids. I didn't see many kids selections in evidence, but the array of clothing and accessories for men and women was ample, and supplemented by a robust sale selection. My mom (shopping partner in crime) and I had fun leisurely perusing the racks. In fact, my mother, who has lived in the area for 15+ years, had never been inside this location of J. McLaughlin. When it came to trying items on, Lynn, the sales associate, was very helpful in terms of placing my items in a fitting room and hunting down alternate sizes both in stock and via the store's computer. I found a couple of items, both on sale (!) that will transition nicely through the seasons. The Sophia Jersey dress in gold and navy is one that I can see pairing with boots and tights in the winter or a simple pair of nude heels in the warmer months. I also snapped up a lightweight cashmere cardigan in coral that promises to brighten the gloomiest of January days. The length is a little bit longer, which I like, and will work well even when the weather warms up. Will definitely be back here and plan to check out the Lake Forest outpost in between visits.”
“I was excited to find a new women's boutique in my neighborhood. I came in during a Maplewood event and the owner was extremely welcoming and friendly. They have a variety of women's clothing, jewelry, and some self care items. I got a great denim top that looks stylish with leggings. When you're shopping downtown Maplewood make sure you stop by this little shop on Sutton.”

Each team member really went above and beyond to greet customers and assist them as needed. I had a preconceived conception of lululemon being somewhat stuffy, and I could not have been more wrong. Finally, I Googled "gowns near me" and was so happy to learn of Special Occasions by Paulette and Teddy. Paulette is the consummate professional, and she's also a joy to work with. She was matter-of-fact about what worked and what didn't. I went in there feeling drab, but ended up feeling like I could walk the red carpet at the Oscars! Paulette knew exactly what would work for me in spite of my various imperfections. I recommend her to the highest degree! I will never go to another shop for a special occasion dress when we have such a jewel here with Paulette.”
