3 years ago... I met Scott at the Hospital Hill expo. Another young lady was helping (I didn't get her name but she was the sweetest) and I was buying some shoes. I wished out loud that they had another pair at that price. She asked Scott and he called the store. He found another pair but the store was inconvenient to home and I mentioned where I lived. He was actually going to be in that area the next day for an event and offered to bring the shoes. After his event he dropped them by my house. WAY above and beyond. I'll be making the trek to their store whenever I need anything. Great job Running Well Store.”
“Amazing experience. I had no idea I’ve been wearing the wrong shoe size for a couple of decades until I came in for a scan. WOW! Sarah explained everything thoroughly and was knowledgeable about the types and brands of shoes that would be a good fit for my feet (arch, width, pressure points, stride). As soon as I strapped them on and stood up, my jaw dropped. The difference was night and day from what I walked in wearing. Reasonably and competitively priced, it was well worth the visit and I’m already experiencing reduced lower back pain.

“My experience with Foot Spot started a week before Christmas 2023. For over five years I had acute and chronic pain when walking. It wasn't plantar fasciitis, but was situated in the joints of my feet. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I tried so many options over those five years to no avail. Numerous shoes for arthritis, inserts of all kinds, steroid shots, live stem cell therapy injections. I could go on and on. I was never able to even take a leisurely walk around the neighborhood as it was just too much pain to endure. I also broke both of my feet within a six month time period. I did not know it at the time, but I realize now that my footwear was not supportive enough, though I thought I had tried every product imaginable. My son brought me to Foot Spot several days before Christmas. I reluctantly went along, knowing that there was no answer. Gretchen Brewer was the salesperson that day. I put a pair of Hokas that she had adjusted with inserts and other products from Foot Spot. Still, in my mind, I thought this was going to be such a waste of time. After I put the shoes on, I felt an immediate difference, like the shoes were molded for my feet. The comfort was remarkable. I walked around the store and was awestruck. All of the pain was gone. ALL of it. It was immediate. I continued to walk the circumference of the store, because I just could not believe it. I finally realized that I just might have found the answer. After about 10 minutes I burst into tears. I knew at that point that I had my life back! We purchased two pairs of Hokas with Foot Spot products inserted, and two sets of slippers so that my feet would always be in products from Foot Spot. Gretchen was so knowledgeable and accommodating. Whatever was needed, Gretchen had the answer. I am reminded of the healing of my feet every time I run errands and I realize now that it doesn't matter how far from the entrance of the store is….I can walk!! I can go back to fast pace walking as a part of my routine. I will never forget Gretchen and Foot Spot. And of course my son! They both gave me my life back! Believing in the Best fit! Foot Spot is my forever store!”

“Shoe Express did an excellent job repairing a broken handle on my suitcase. I also had a missing zipper head that I did not even mention when I took it into the shop. When I picked it up a zipper head had been added and all the other zipper heads on the suitcase were replaced to match!! Another bonus was that the repair was done in half the time expected!!!”
“I left this store with the biggest smile on my face. From the time my family and I walked in until the time we left, the two ladies working made us feel like family. “This is the BEST Anthro I have ever been to in terms of staff. Went here on Black Friday it was crazy and still multiple staff members went out of their way to help me but not in an overwhelming way, more like your shopping with a bunch of your besties kind of way. “Never been inside any LOFT store ever before and my first experience was beyond GREAT!! Every worker was friendly and welcoming from the time I entered the door. I was graciously introduced to Alex...in my first visit....He was warm...friendly...professional...He was such a joy...that I decided to order online again and so happen my second order was designated to the wardparkway location....
When I arrived...I was greeted with smiles...cool...but I saw Alex...and immediately asked for him to come speak to me....He remembered me...which was great...(Side note..if you go and read my review from City Gear 48th State KCK you will totally understand this follow up purchase)
So...before even picking up my online order...I did what I do...and that is YOLO...I asked Alex about some Nike Cortez's...cause from my previous post from City Gear KCK I am a secret gangster of some sorts...if you know....you know....on God...
Alex helped me...to the degree of perfection...with finding a shirt to match the Cortez's...then I saw them Jordans 6 with the green...and they was on sale...so hell..I got them too...
So I made this post so long...because people need to know that there are people in this world that actually love their jobs and this encounter proves that...Alex was attentive...patience and he even walked me to my car as did Khoi at the City Gear KCK location...........Now as the same with Khoi and Shaniya at City Gear KCK...I gave him a token of my appreciation before even checking out....he was so modest and humble....but this goes to show you that these previous reviews are well.......... reviews...this post is giving people their well deserved flowers....Alex and the other two employees that where present I thank you...
Hope this puts you on the map as a great place to shop...because I will definitely be back...and am definitely going to send folks to get great service....Peace And Love.....Ohhhhh and shout out to Regina...Khoi...and Shaniya at the City Gear KCK location cause you guys were the seed to this entire experience.

“Picked up a pair of Nike shoes and a week later they started squeaking. Called the store and they said bring ‘em in and exchange them for whatever other shoes. In this day and age it’s not common to get that kind or service. I’ll definitely be shopping here from shoes from here on.”
