“I have been a devout fan of Retro Vixen on their social media pages for years. There is something for all body shapes and sizes here, which is SO impressive and a must. They also have a punch card, so for every $25 you spend you get one step closer to another punch on your card (full punch card = discount.) Thank you so much!
2023: I attended their 5th anniversary birthday party, so the shop was gussied up with balloons and cupcakes (they were delicious.) I was given a space to try on clothes. The staff helped me pick out the perfect accessories (a belt with a beautiful bow) and a stunning green cardigan.
2026: Still love this place. Jess helped me pick out an outfit for an upcoming My Chemical Romance concert I'm going to. Love that they have a thrift shop now, too!”
“One of the best sneaker stores in kc, always got sum wild deals. Also super chill staff, introduced my friend to then since I come here alot and they straight made my guy a whole on fit and hyped him up. Again super chill crowd.

“I had a pair of Teva guide sandals that were $100 new in 1996 and my dog chewed up one of the quick connect fasteners shortly after I bought them. I couldn’t bring myself to throw them away and they went to storage. I rediscovered them (2023) found the molded plastic part I needed for $1 online and took the shoe in. They fixed it in a week and I have my old sandals back. The change was so little I don’t remember what it was only that the service was excellent and I can’t recommend this business enough.”

Jen went the extra mile in every way - She helped us extensively with sizing and brought out several different pairs of boots to try. She also helped find me a pair of custom fit insoles for my boots that I couldn’t have found any other way. “I couldn't be happier with my experience at Renner's! When I dropped off my vintage boots, he looked over them to be sure that the toplift replacement I requested was the only thing that needed to be done. I was told I could pick them up in 3 days for a charge of about $18. I'm so impressed with the result! The toplifts look and feel sturdy. Even the scraped heels looks better after the damaged areas have been blackened to match the rest of the heels. Will return to Renner's for my future shoe repair needs and recommend them to anyone else!”

“Went in about a month ago as I was having severe knee pains. Was looking to pay big bucks on a pair of shoes to hopefully cure it ease the pain. They told me that it wasn't the shoe but the insole after having me walk on the treadmill and judge my gate. For the price of a new pair of good shoes they sold me two inserts I could use on any of the shoes I already own. Within a week.... wow! So much better and now I'm virtually pain free! Years ago I was hired by the good feet store and taught how to trick customers into buying, trust me this store is the only one you need to solve any foot or knee problems you may have!”
“Came in April 3, 2026 a little before 6pm. Everyone there interacted with me in the most meaningful way. Shopping is more than buying clothes, but connecting with people; even venting, perhaps. “WHERE TO START!!! I came in about 45 minutes before they closed with some jeans i got from an online retailer that had, get this, NO HOLE FOR THE BUTTON TO GO THROUGH!!! so i look online for a place that does tailoring and buckle popped up! I went in with ZERO expectations and them to send me on my way to another tailor but they didn't!! Ashley who was at the front was so kind and did it in an instant I was so happy that i didn't have to do a drop off service and pick them up!! it was such a great experience!!”

“I was never a big fan of Aldo’s in the past but honestly, I just never took the time to walk into the store to see what they offered. As a men who prefers loafers over sneakers they have a lot of options for men’s dressy shoes/boots. I also want to take the time to thank Kimoura at the Plaza location. I always look forward to seeing her and getting her opinions on what shoes to buy when I have the outfit picked out but no shoes to wear. She’s helped me expand my shoe wardrobe and even got me to buy a shoe that, at the time, did not look good on my foot, but I’m glad I took her advice and saved money in the process. She knows her stuff and will never lead you astray (Give her promotion please) I will definitely be back soon for another pillow walk loafer. They are so comfortable!!”

“I love the selection of boots to choose from and their jeans. There were plenty of clearance boots too, which I absolutely loved. The only issue was that I already felt out of place going in there to look around and I kinda got a look from one of the employees that made it even worse. It appeared as if she didn’t want to ring me up once it was time to pay. It’s a good store within itself, but all people should be made to feel welcome there no matter what.”

“Eddie at the Kansas City Coach store went above and beyond for me. After my online order of a Juliet 25 in Signature Jacquard was damaged during shipping and the bag sold out, I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get a replacement.
Eddie took the time to call other stores and was able to locate one of the last bags available in the country. He arranged to have it shipped to me and completely turned around what had been a very disappointing experience.
