“I recently moved from Raytown to the Northland. While I had arranged for my mail to be forwarded, my brother shipped a birthday present to my former address by mistake. After speaking with the new tenants, I believed the package to have been lost or stolen. I went to the Raytown Post Office to confirm. To my surprise and delight, Kyle—the most amazing mail carrier in the land—took the initiative to collect the package from the mailbox and return it to the post office. Thanks to him—and to Taylor who tracked down the package minutes before five and arranged for it to be forwarded—my brother’s gift will soon arrive at my new home. I’m so grateful!”

“We have always had a positive experience at this post office. While the wait can be long due to customers’ needs ahead of me in line, I have always had good service for both mailing and passport application needs and always found staff friendly and attentive. Facility is clean and has good selection of cards and mailing supplies.”

“Best Post Office experience ever! I had a mass mailing of 200+ items that was rudely turned away at another PO. The NE Rice team helped me problem-solve, and working together we had it done within an hour. I experienced nothing but positive attitudes and hardworking collaboration from this staff.”

“Even though it's a bit out of my daily route, this is my favorite USPS in town. I've taken off a star due to the short hours (M-F 12-4), but the clerk keeps even the longest lines moving super fast. Definitely know their stuff, and he consistently checks to make sure you're not being overcharged. You can check the PO boxes 24 hours a day.”

“The sweetest man works here! I ran out of packing tape so I planned on purchasing some when I arrived at the store, but he asked me if I had my return label and when I responded that I did he told me to just leave the package on the counter and that he’d tape it up for me. All the while he was very friendly and funny. I will definitely take all future packages here for shipping!”

“Krystal was very helpful in getting passports for my family of 4! She was very knowledgeable and friendly and able to get our applications, payment, and photos completed efficiently.I think the biggest thing for anyone getting a passport, is making sure you are bringing all required documents to ensure a smooth process (similar to the DMV).”

“For our passport appointment, Patricia was so helpful and efficient. She even called us before our appointment to communicate the photo services were not working and make sure we had all of our documents ready. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you, Patricia!”

“The only reason this location doesn’t get 5 stars from me is that the hours are extremely limited, which is a shame! The guy who is always working there is very friendly and helpful. He’s great! If there is a line, it’s always short and quick. If they were open more often, it would be perfect.”

“I lived in Grandview for 4 years. Mail carriers were always friendly and waved. Never had a problem going into the building for sending packages. Mail forwarding was always easy. I have always found them easy to work with.”

“I was so nervous about going to the Post Office Because they are always so unpleasant. I was needing to send my wedding invitations and wanted some of them hand cancelled so they wouldn't get messed up and i was so nervous they would be nasty about it. So i picked this one because the reviews were so much better than the other ones throughout KCMO. And boy were they right. Minus them not being open from 1-2 and opening a little after 2, hence the 4 stars, this post worker was so amazing. She was friendly and helpful and prompt and helped me get my invites sent out and complimented my calligraphy which made the process even better! So go out of your way to this location if you need the post office!”

“This is where I go when I want to mail a package or make sure that I have sufficient postage on a larger or bulkier envelope. I have never had anything but prompt courteous service. The hardest thing is the parking, but that’s not the post office. It’s about the events at Union Station.”

“Rodney was working the counter for an appointment I had. They were able to get me in and out quicker than I thought and made a process I thought would be painful very simple and easy. Thank you Rodney!”

“Yes this office is busy and the parking can be challenging. With that being said - the staff here is top notch. Today wasn't my first visit here - but my interaction with the clerk Fred at the office was so pleasant and he was kind/funny. Everyone has a positive attitude and that's what really counts.”

“Clean, fast, polite, professional. No large drop off bin for packages and had to stand in line to drop off, rather than drop and go. Otherwise, nice little neighborhood post office”

“Only reason I gave 4 stars is because when our regular post man is off for any reason; the subs act like they do not care at! We constantly got each other’s mail r no mail delivered at all! Our regular post man is good & he’ll always call u on intercom for any pkgs b4 putting them in mailbox BUT WILL NOT STOP & AND GIVE U ALL UR MAIL LOL WE ALSO CK WITH U B4 HE PUTS A STRANGE NAME IN UR MAILBOX! Really like our post man & he’s been with us I know ever since I’ve moved here in Sept 2013! Give him our appreciation for all the good work he does & if he retires he’ll b surely missed????????????”

“I could tell that there was going to be a wait. I think a few ppl did not grasp this because the whining and complaining from others in line frankly made the wait seem even longer. There were children in line that were quite and well behaved... Just saying if there is 10 ppl in line and only one agent well be prepared to wait for a bit.”
