“ACE has always been a good go to hardware store. Little more spendy than Home Depot or Lowe's but they have a great selection AND knowledgeable and helpful employees. Employees are always friendly and I've never seen any ACE Hardware dirty or in disarray”
“Had a part for my water heater that needs ne of the big box stores had. Gentlemen who helped me ( didn't catch his name) knew right where the part was ( not out on floor) and I was in and out of there in 10 minutes whereas I wandered around the other stores and was told "You should just buy a new water
heater"! Will be regular customer”

“We frequent the Heights Ace pretty regularly, aways have a great experience. However, I just want to give a shoutout to Kaleb for fixing my near paint disaster. I had gotten some paint about a month ago and painted half of my main area, ran out of paint and went to get more last week when the paint was on sale. There was a mixup when a different employee tinted the paint and I got the wrong paint color (with the same name)and I did not notice until I got home and started painting with it. I called and Kaleb asked me to come to the store and he'd make it right. He took the wrong color back, fixed up the correct color and made sure I walked out of there without paying the difference from the sale last week. I really appreciate his time and kindness in fixing the issue!”

“I've have been to every scrap yard in Billings, I've been burn by everyone of them except for Big Sky! I usually call around to see who has the highest price 9/10 it is Big Sky. When I take a load in they are always more then helpful, with unloading my scrap. I will be back with all recycling needs and buying steel. I'd recommend them to all of my friends and family.”
“It's harbor freight! Who doesn't like it? They've got all the little specialty tools and tools you could ever need at good prices. Maybe not the highest quality but a definite must visit for the do-it yourselfer for tools you must have to simplify a task without paying an arm n a leg for it. If I were searching for something I'd use everyday in my business though I'd probably suggest going a more high-end, for as the saying goes, you get what you pay for”

“I went here to pick up some bark for my flower bed. And they had a pallet out side where everything was a dollar because the bags were ripped. Total score!!! Who cares the bag was ripped. Not just bark either, soil, pea gravel, sand, lava rocks. Great find.”

“One employee (didn't get his name unfortunately) passed me walking back to plumbing area and asked if I knew where to go for what I needed (I did). I appreciate being asked though.
And I found what I needed.”
“Andrea in the paint department was absolutely wonderful to work with. We went in the day prior and asked another girl to help us find these paint samples we saw online and the girl did not want to help us, told us she couldn’t look up where the sample cards were as we looked for about 45 min trying to find two colors. She then told us she could mix them and so we had her do that. Long story short they were not the right colors and we bought 3 gallons. We came back today and spoke to Andrea to let her know what happened and not only did she refund us the full amount, she went out of her way to help us find new samples, comped us all of those, also gave us some sheets to put on wall to test paint first and then you can peel them off, and some paint pens too. She was so so helpful and apologetic that we didn’t get that type of service the day before. Thank you so much Andrea, because of you we will definitely be coming back to Home Depot.”
“I usually get a lot of anxiety every time I have to come to this store. The workers are usually not friendly and seem like they don’t want to be there, but today was different. Dwayne who works in the lock area department went above and beyond to help me find everything I needed today! He was so knowledgeable, helpful and nice. I learned so much about locks and left with all the products I needed! It’s so hard to find that level of excellent customer service anymore! Huge thank you to Dwayne!
