“JCPenney in the Kalispell Center Mall is, frankly, a breath of fresh air — especially considering its front door opens directly into a mall that feels like it’s waiting for its final rites. The store is clean, bright, and stocked with the full JCPenney assortment you expect: apparel, home goods, seasonal displays, all neatly organized and easy to navigate.
What really stands out is the staff. They’re upbeat, engaged, and genuinely pleasant — which is impressive given the mall’s “end‑stage retail” atmosphere just outside their entrance. It feels like they’re choosing optimism in a place that doesn’t give them much to work with.
Inventory is solid, presentation is tidy, and the store feels alive in a mall that… isn’t.”
“The store manager, Jesse, was amazing! She was so fun and helpful. When I mentioned that a pair of boots I loved weren’t in my size for my trip, she went out of her way to help. She found a store where I’m going that had my size, called them, and even had them hold the boots for a few extra days. She really didn’t have to do that, but she did. Every store manager should be like her!”

“My husband & I came in today 6/12/26 and had the best experience we have ever had at a Buckle store. Unfortunately, I did not catch the gal's name, but she was amazing. Incredibly friendly, kind, and very attentive. She looked at what I was picking out and picked out some adorable pieces for me to try on. The other gal working was also very friendly and helpful. You can tell both of these ladies really enjoy their job. We are from Helena and while we don't have a Buckle yet, we will gladly make the trip to shop here.”

“I love Maurices! I have always mostly worn Maurices clothing. The only complaint I have is how dirty the floors are throughout the store and the dressing rooms at the Kalispell location. I have noticed this for the last year to two years. They need a good vacuum and use the tool to get along the walls and corners. I have mentioned this in-store and emailed the corporate office and it hasn't changed. They need a manager who prides themselves on a clean store and friendly customer service.”
