“We had a wonderful experience at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel’s Afternoon Tea service. Our server Sam and the manager Jamie were both outstanding.
Jamie went out of her way to ensure everyone was taken care of smoothly and in a timely manner. Her presence made the entire service feel organized, warm, and effortless.
Sam was an excellent server who was attentive, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the set tea menu.
I wasn’t lucky enough to meet the pastry chef, but her creations were unforgettable. I will absolutely be back for more of her treats.”
“Easy to navigate facility. Guest laundry is complimentary. There is a fitness center with free weights and cardio equipment. Great for a workout after traveling all day.
My husband and I enjoyed a comfortable, peaceful night’s sleep. Quiet atmosphere which enabled us to really rest after a long day of driving.
Overall, affordable and nice. We will definitely stay here again.”

“I stayed at the Hampton Inn with my family on July 27. In our hurry to continue our journey, my wife accidentally left her wedding ring and diamond ring in the room. The housekeeping staff was incredibly honest and returned the rings to the front desk. The front desk staff promptly and securely mailed the rings back to our home in Canada. This is the warmest and most comfortable hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The enthusiastic service and the integrity of the staff are truly commendable. We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future! We are extremely grateful.”

“I can’t say enough about the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Front desk Delia was a Godsend. We showed up 1 day ahead of our reservation and she accommodated us swiftly. Jessica at front desk also saved the day by granting entry after I showed up without my husband who held the room key. Allen, Jessica and Tara started our days in an awesome way with great nutrition. The facilities were always clean, while our room was very comfortable. This is our 2nd stay at this location. We will call this location home whenever in Omaha!”

“We had a wonderful stay here 10/18/24-10/19/24. We booked 2 rooms and had a dog with us. We got to pre-check in and choose our room!
There was a shuttle service that could take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius. It took us to dinner.
The hotel was clean, well organized and the staff were very friendly.
Nearby activities: We came to see Dylan Schneider in concert at Barnato's which was such a cool space and within walking distance of our hotel.
We ate dinner at The Local, which had fabulous food and was easy to get into on a Friday night.
Walkability: There is an outlet mall about a 1/4 mile away which has great restaurant options. Also, the hotel is on a frontage road which was a great option for me to walk my dog.
Food and drinks: There is a typical breakfast bar in the morning, free of charge. They also have a cook to serve option for $12.50. there were about 6 cook to order options to choose from. Everyone we saw who was coming to eat breakfast ordered from the cook to serve. There was a waitress who was very friendly.”

“The room was very clean and the staff was great. Location is 15-20 mins from downtown and right down the road from The Amazing Pizza Machine. Quick access to the highway and plenty of retail close by.
Rooms: Rooms were clean and well stocked. Full sized refrigerator, microwave, and 2-burner stove.
Nearby activities: Right down the street from The Amazing Pizza Machine and only a 15-20 minute drive to the Kiewitt Luminarium and Omaha Zoo downtown.”

“We were very pleased with our stay here. The hotel was clean and well kept. Rooms are spacious and set up nicely with the separate seating area, large TV, microwave, mini fridge and surprisingly comfy beds. It's also not close to a highway so it's much quieter than most hotels. The free breakfast was sufficient with the usual options including the popular waffle maker. The only issue we had was that the water didn't get very hot at all so be prepared for a lukewarm shower.”

“We stayed here from Friday through Monday. The location is great. Easy access to a highway, Target/Walmart are close, good shops are near. Small drive to some nice malls and decent food places around. Gas stations and coffee shops right across the street.
The rooms look really nice and clean, but the beds are uncomfortable. Overall, the place is in nice condition, but the elevators can be slow by the front desk. There is another elevator by the pool that isn't used as much and is quicker.
The windows can be loud on windy days and with L street being busier, the road noise can be loud from time to time. If you're a light sleeper, I would try to get a room away from L street.
The pool is just a kid pool. My son loved it. There is a hot tub, but it gets used up by the kids, too.
Fitness room was pretty nice for most hotels I have been to. Machines were clean and worked. Free weights were on racks, they also had a nice bench. Good flooring with mats as well.
Breakfast was alright. It gets you by rather than spending money. They have eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon or sausage links, waffles, yogurt, cereal, quite a bit, really.
Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. I just wish the beds were more comfortable.”

“I was there the weekend of 8/17. An issue with my reservation was quickly resolved by Alexis & LaTasha at the front desk; throughout my stay, La Tasha was incredibly friendly, gracious, and helpful. My room was spotless and comfortable; the breakfast they provided was a really nice amenity. The amazing staff, clean room, location, and amenities exceeded my expectations in every way. This will be my first choice the next time I’m in Omaha.

“Listen, I didn't stay here, but my Uber driver dropped me off here around 1 am. I went inside to check in, and the most lovely person helped me, figuring out that I needed to be at the hotel on the other side of the parking lot. She did not have to be so kind and helpful in the middle of the night, but I appreciated it so much!!”

“I have stayed here a handful of times while in Omaha for work purposes. The staff have always been warm, friendly, helpful, and engaging. The hotel is always very clean and organized. Everything is maintained and updated well. The breakfast is wonderful. The lobby has a lot of things you can buy if you need something but don't want to run to the store. There is a good pool and a nice gym. I highly recommend this place, it's especially pleasant because of the staff who take care of it.”
“Rooms are remodeled and well made, but they were not the cleanest. We found a bra on top of the closet and there were handprints all over the headboards ?, and I think they skip the mirrors too. Staff was polite, and helpful. If housekeeping would make sure to clean the rooms a little better it would be a 5 star!”
“Exactly what you would expect from a fairfield - clean, friendly service, decent although far from great breakfast.
They are only cleaning rooms every other day which is fine except, as a result, there is not enough coffee in the room. The front desk will happily give you more coffee but it would be nice if they just stocked more in the room.”
“Dated but well maintained, clean and spacious rooms. Compared to many other aging motor inns this one was nice. Nothing really negative to say. Hot water and AC worked fine. Staff was incredibly friendly and the price is hard to beat.”

“Located in Midtown. Downtown is maybe 10 minutes away by bus. Large room with kitchenette and fridge/freezer. Large bathroom. Everything clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet had a large selection of cereals and yoghurts. Supermarket was in the building but had a sign saying “we are closing”. There are many restaurants and bars within 100m. It takes 15 minutes to get to the airport by taxi and 70 minutes by bus.”

“Great location and staff, front desk and bar was top rated.
Nearby activities: As mentioned earlier, great location. A lot of things to do in the surrounding area. I felt safe and I could walk anywhere I needed to go.
Safety: To my surprise this was a very clean City and I only saw one homeless person so I felt safe and it was just amazing.
Walkability: There were great restaurants in walking distance. The actual convention center where we had our event was in walking distance.
Food and drinks: I ordered a burger and fries and it was simply Delicious.
Noteworthy details: The hotel itself was well designed. The lobby was definitely Eye-Catching. Businesses grow”
