1758 U.S. Hwy 395 N Suite A, MindenShoe Tree Brewing has been one of my favorite local breweries, and after a few years delay, I finally got to check out their location down in Minden. This is a very nice little taproom, very welcoming and chill. They have most of the mainstays you'll find at the flagship location, plus a couple of beers they brew here in-house. The beer quality is very good, and you can sample some of the most unique libations to be found in our region. Prices are pretty standard for pints. Service was very friendly. Parking is abundant and easy. And they have snacks available for purchase, and nearby options for more actual meals. Plenty of to-go beer options on sale here, too. And they have scheduled music shows cycling through. So yeah, all told, this is a great spot for local brew hunters to stop in at and grab a pint, or three. Cheers, all!

1644 U.S. Hwy 395 N, MindenWe experienced Cook'd for the first time, and what a wonderful experience it was! The food was absolutely fabulous. Starting with the pickled fries for a delightful appetizer of which we were certainly not disappointed. They were far superior to any we had experienced before and was definitely a must to awaken your taste buds. For the main course our party ordered the penny pasta bake, hamburger and frys, salad and barbecue chicken pizza. We were all very pleased with our various dishes. Not only was the food beautifully presented but absolutely delicious. We completed our meal with the chocolate lasagna, a real treat for the palette. Next time, i'm going to try their banana pudding, which is one of my favorite desserts. The owner of the restaurant along with the waiters and staff were all very friendly going above our expectations in making our dining experience an evening to remember. 1627 U.S. Hwy 395 N, MindenWe ate here recently, they had a cute valentines raffle going on in the casino that the restaurant is located. The meatloaf was really good but the mozzarella sticks were pretty squishy my child enjoyed them though ?. Nice staff and food was pretty fast.
