“I went to Home Depot on Thursday morning to purchase various items for a project I’m having built—a small roof-like cover over my air conditioner to help protect it from bird droppings.

I brought a photo of what I wanted to build, and I was absolutely amazed by the service I received. Three incredible Home Depot employees—Ed in the Paint Department, Mike in Delivery, and Byron in Order Fulfillment—worked together to help me with every detail of the project. They went above and beyond, right down to helping me determine the correct size nails I would need.
They also thought of things I hadn’t even considered, such as recommending that I paint the wooden posts because of the weather conditions here. They offered suggestions and advice that went well beyond simply helping me find the items on my list. Their teamwork, knowledge, patience, and willingness to help were truly exceptional.

I cannot thank Ed, Mike, and Byron enough for all of their help and advice. They made what could have been a confusing project so much easier, and I genuinely appreciated the time and effort they put into helping me.

I sincerely hope Home Depot recognizes these three employees for their outstanding customer service. Whether that means a bonus, reward, or simply some well-deserved recognition, they absolutely deserve it. Employees like Ed, Mike, and Byron are a wonderful reflection of what great customer service should be.

“If your looking to pick up an order quickly on a Sunday absolutely never do curbside pick up in the middle of a Sunday, I waited in my car for 20 minutes just end up going inside to the counter and physically pick it up from the online order counter. It's not the employees fault I just think they could use an extra couple people working online orders over the weekends to accommodate the diy weekend warrior rush”
