“My husband and I had to get our car serviced while traveling... we ended up stranded and having the car towed to this dealership in the middle of the night. Absolutely fantastic service and Phil is my hero! He went above and beyond.Phil talked to me in the morning and the part was a day away. I explained my family was stranded, we live 4 hours away and my son is missing school. We needed to get home that day so I could get my dog and get my son back in school. I asked if there was anyway he could get the repair that day given the situation....otherwise I would have to rent a u-haul and tow it home myself. Phil called around to other dealerships and found the parts we needed. He got our car back to us and working by 2pm so we could finally head home and even topped off the fluids in the car and fixed a pesky batter cable to ensure we wouldn't have any more issues getting home. He went above and beyond so my family could make it home safely and we are truly grateful for his help and amazing customer service.”

“This is a family owned business that offers quality customer service. I purchased a 2008 Ford Fusion that was well within my budget. As an matter of fact they came in about $500.00 under my budget and delivered a quality vehicle. I use this vehicle to commute about 12,000 miles year and could not be happier with the purchase. Joe, Brian, and Shane know this business inside and out. They even talked me out of a vehicle that I wanted to purchase that was above my budget because they felt it was not the right car for my needs. I would recommend this dealership to friends and family who are looking for a car that does not break the bank. I paid cash for my vehicle but they offered me financing with little or no interest on the $1,500 or so that I was going to finance. I wound up paying for the vehicle in full and to this day In could not be more confident in my purchase. Real down to earth people who care about repeat business instead of trying to maximize their profits. I will purchase another car from Americar if and when I need another one. We will see as my car is still very reliable and on the road getting me back and forth to work each day.”

“I've used Rent-A-Wreck Parsippany quite a few times over the years. Most recently I rented a cargo van 3 times in the last month. I've been quite happy with them. The vans were not wrecks at all. One was older, two were brand new, all were roadworthy. Rosalie helped me with all of them. She is friendly, efficient, knows her stuff. She was careful to document any dents before I left the lot, and she took the time to help figure out the right mileage quota, and familiarize me with the particulars of the controls and dashboard of each vehicle. She made the process easy.”

“I had booked a rental on a 3rd party website a day before and when I went to pick the car they did not have one at the location. They couldn't call me to inform since the website didn't update my phone number on the booking. Gentleman at the office was helpful he arranged a car I had booked at another location and dropped me there to pick the car.”

“Ruben was a pleasure to work with and helped us a lot in the rental process. We had trouble finding a card that could cover the deposit. Ruben stayed late after his shift and helped us get into a car even after we ran into every problem we possibly could. I assume many people are tricked because they do not read the fine print, and that is very important. There are additional deposits and fees, not detailed until the final checkout page, and it's important to keep a balance that can cover it. Thank you to Reuben and I recommend this location to anyone who prepays.”

He was so prompt in communicating and went the extra mile to help me get into a car! When I got the car he was so helpful with explaining everything and setting me up!
