“Why are there so many Toro lawn mowers in for repair. Some look new. Mine is there now. All repair orders seem to have the same problem and solution. Is Home Depot selling crap then charging $100 to repair on a $300 mower?”

“When the electronic lock in my wife’s store broke I called Bunchers Hardware asking them to recommend a locksmith . I have been shopping there for 25 + years. The women answering the phone, in a pleasant manner , to said “ we have one here and will have him call you .”. Ten minutes later Frank called me and said he would “be there by days end.” He spoke to my wife ,found out her hours ,and arrived after her last customer was seen. (yes we all need a crumb catcher in the image of our farorite 4-legged friend) The tools that feel solid in your hand. It’s the best kind of treasure hunt — practical, nostalgic, and oddly comforting.
Yes, sometimes prices might look a touch higher at first glance — but honestly? Not by much. By the time you order online, pay shipping, and wait for a box wrapped in layers of cardboard, you’re right back at the same cost. And here, you get something Amazon can’t deliver: real help.
The staff here is beyond. Knowledgeable. Patient. Actually interested in solving your problem instead of just pointing you to an aisle. That kind of service is becoming rare.
Places like this are slowly disappearing, and we need to support them while we still can. Skip the extra packaging, save a couple of trees, and walk into your local hardware store.

“I'm glad I used Google to find this location. My husband only want to use Benjamin Moore paint and this location has the paint and all the extras that you will need. I parked in the front but there is even more parking spaces in the back. The staff was friendly. The lady that helped me did everything from getting the paint, ringing me up and even brought the two 5 gallons of paint directly to the car and placed them inside ?. She lifted the gallons up effortlessly.
When I got home I thought I could do the same thing.
No!
My neighbors Ring camera probably recorded my struggle. ? I will let the contractor remove the remaining gallon from the car.”

“Harbor Freight is a good place to shop if you're looking for a better price than you might find at Home Depot or Lowe's. Of course it needs to be mentioned when it comes to selecting tools, quality does matter and you would be surprised the quality of tools at Harbor Freight. The thing I would like to mention why you're purchasing a tool, if you're a contractor and you're going to be using that tool daily to make a living Home Depot or Lowe's may offer better quality but if you're an avid handy person Harbor Freight Tools may very well serve you well.”
