“An amazing bookstore fill with merchandise of all animes and mangas. Many popular anime/mangas can be found here. It's been awhile since I came here so of course we browse for over an hour here just ohhing and ahhhing everything. End up buying a few books and cute knickknacks. This will last me until next trip out here (probably in another few years hahahaah). The mangas are cheaper than other shops in the city...”

People are kind and creative, artistic vibes of artists that live and wanna make it in the city. The brewed coffee is not my favorite but there is a variety of options.”

They’ve also got a great selection of books, toys and other things. Definitely a hidden gem and worth going out of your way to check out! Plus staff was super friendly! We will be returning!”

“An unbelievable gastronomic wonderland!! A local gem that needs to be experienced to be believed…what they do is akin culinary alchemy…fusing ingredients in new and tantalizing ways, such as salmon arancini and a delectable focaccia sammy stuffed with greens, ricotta and these marvelous tiny yet crunchy mushrooms (just naming only two of the amazing concoctions I’ve personally sampled amidst a myriad of other incredible offerings!!)…you’ll “umm” and “ooo” with every bite!! Their chief “Wizardress” Paige brings a level of artistry you don’t often see on a “storefront” level and it’s yet another great NYC institution that needs to be patronized and supported lest our fair Gotham degenerates into a massive “Panera-bucks”!! And, oh, they have ethereal baked goods, other yummies, hard to find cookbooks, events, cooking classes, good vibes, nice folks and MORE!!! Go visit this veritable Garden of Epicurean Delights…you’ll feel renewed as a sentient being!!!”

They also write out descriptions of their favorite picks, so you can browse those to find things that you might enjoy. The vibe here is welcoming, calm, and cozy.”

“Somewhere between a chain and independent feel of a bookstore. Many little quiet nooks and reading areas. A large selection and a cute pup that is calm and sweet”

“A wonderful selection of unique books, zines, and art. These books very much fit within the “art book” category, with some opening up from a cover made of cardboard into an accordion binding, while others consist of maze-like infrastructures that make the contents complimentary to the art of the binding itself. They have beautiful prints in the back, with some for sale. And a wonderful little “book machine” that gets you a sweet little bobble that holds a mini zine! I highly recommend adding this place to your to-go list if you’re new to the area or just stopping through.”

“A cozy, neighborhood gem of a bookstore and decided I found a new favorite. Though the selection of fiction are not that extensive, I love how they have book recommendations, bargain options, and blind date with a book available. The basement was dedicated mostly for young adult and children books. They also have a stationary, gift items and random trinkets which I also love!”

“Ok, I kind of really hate reading, (always have, REALLY wish i didn't, i just simply can't help it) but after coming through here and seeing all the different genres and personality in this place, it lowkey made me want to read a book LOL. I always enjoy looking at the nonfiction and travel sections, and the selection is HUGE. The place is really well organized and clean too, which makes it easier to navigate through the three floors worth of books they have. Also for the niche audience that would care... they do have jellycats. Listening to chemtrails over the country club while walking through this place is the ultimate vibe.. would recommend 10/10.”

“The owner, family, employees and even the other guests were truly delightful. From the moment I stepped into the hotel I was greeted with not only amazing smells of the fresh canolis, cappuccino and homemade pastas but inviting and friendly faces. The design and thoughtfulness put into the hotel is breathtaking - all of the history wrapped into a hotel with a story and breathtaking views in the rooms. If you're lucky, you'll even get to listen to Randy's talented children artfully playing the piano. Thank you Blue Moon hotel for this special treat!Your friend from South Dakota”

“Every Tuesday after work, I ask my girlfriend if she’d like to go for a walk; it only took two weeks for her to realize that “go on a walk” means “walk all the way down First Street to Little City Books”. It just so happens that every Tuesday is also new release day!LCB is a quaint local book shop not far from the PATH and waterfront & they have an impressive selection for the size of the store.By the way, if you’re someone who doesn’t want to support small businesses or authors by paying cover price, instead of bringing up the price difference on Amazon, go to your local library instead. :)”
