“I was just passing by here and I tried turkey & cheese sandwich . It was very amazing. The store is very clean and the guy who handle the counter “K” is amazing guy , i found this place good”
“Trader Joe's is now in place of the old Walgreens at Pond Rd., Plaza. They carry fresh produce, frozen foods and have many excellent specialty items such as Sriracha chips. They carry mostly their own food brands.
I personally love getting fresh whole coffee beans to make cold brew. Their artesian bread is on par with Whole Foods but without the cost. I find basic items such as alternative dairy products, breads, and eggs to be at exceptionally cheaper prices compared to Whole Foods and on par when Wegmans are having those items on sale.”
“Trader Joe’s in Brick Plaza is mamash one of those places that you walk into “for two items,” and somehow you walk out with a tote bag full of snacks you didn’t know existed five minutes ago… and you’re smiling the whole way to the car. ?
First off, the vibe is always upbeat. The staff here is super friendly and on top of it — you can ask where something is and they don’t just point vaguely like “aisle… somewhere.” They’ll actually walk you over, explain what it is, and half the time they’ll hit you with a suggestion like, “If you like that, you’ll love this.” It’s very heimish for a big chain — warm, helpful, and no attitude.
The selection is what makes TJ’s TJ’s: all those signature items that are perfect for quick meals, easy lunches, and last-minute “we need something for the house” situations. Produce is fresh, the frozen section is a lifesaver (weeknight dinners, Shabbos prep shortcuts, you know the matzav), and the snacks are basically a full-time nisayon. Every aisle has something new that makes you stop and think, “Who asked for this?”… and then you buy it anyway. ?
Pricing is also a big plus. You feel like you’re getting good quality without having to take out a mashkon on the house to pay for groceries. And everything is packaged nicely, easy to grab, easy to store — very practical.
Now let’s talk real life: it can get busy, and the parking situation in Brick Plaza can be a little “chasunah traffic” at peak times. But honestly, it’s worth it. Go in with a little patience, maybe daven for a close spot, and once you’re inside you’ll forget the whole thing.
Bottom line: clean store, great energy, consistently good products, and a staff that makes the whole experience pleasant. If you’re stocking up, grabbing a quick dinner, or just coming in for “one snack” (good luck), this Trader Joe’s is a win.”
“Just about the nicest and most informative grocery store workers you will find anywhere! Thank you to the team at Shewsbury NJ Trader Joe’s for your kindness today!”

“I went to buy meat for Yom Tov. I don’t usually shop here for meat, so I was surprised to see there was no imported selection available. It definitely impacted the price, but overall it was still reasonable and affordable”

“From the moment you step inside it feels like you’ve been transported deep into the countryside. The produce looks almost too perfect to be real with a wide variety of options. There is a fresh bakery which offers large selections of pies and breads. We picked up an apple crumb pie and apple cider donuts, both absolutely delicious. In the fruit area in the back they offer free samples of cold apple cider, which is so crispy and quenching instantly making you want to buy a full bottle. There is endless amount of parking and lots of outdoor seating available to sit and enjoy.”
“? Five Stars! A True Gem in Sustainable Living! ?
I can’t say enough good things about this local refillery! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the refreshing scent of clean, eco-friendly living. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about sustainability, always ready to help you find exactly what you need.
The selection is top-notch—everything from household cleaners and personal care items to pantry staples and unique local goods, all available in bulk to reduce waste. I especially love that I can bring my own containers and refill only what I need. It feels so impossible to reduce my plastic use but I feel better reusing the containers until I invest/acquire more glass bottles.
This place has truly made sustainable shopping convenient, enjoyable, and impactful. If you’re looking to reduce your environmental footprint without sacrificing quality or customer service, this refillery is an absolute must-visit. I’m so grateful to have such a forward-thinking business in our community!
✨ Support local. Shop smart. Save the planet—one refill at a time! ✨”
“Buy 2 sushi get 3rd free love it.
Parking is plentiful as well.
Nicely expanded with some nice ready to eat meat meals. The place has really expanded and service is always great. Nice selection of ready to eat kosher meat products.
They now a self check out option.
Good time to shop is early as store is less crowded (regarding Friday mornings)
Busy as ever going into 2026.
Very busy now for Jewish holiday season October 2025
Just found perfect ready to eat gefilte for shabbos with dips under $10.”
“Nice store, but pricing by the deli section is for the most part non-existent.
Additionally, although the prices on takeout are pretty good, the take-out items have zero ingredients listed on the packaging. Very frustrating. Very skimpy on information. Another basic example: No telling of what bracha the wraps are.”

“Excellent service. Chet made my pizza. Sushi with brown rice was made and I found the veggie crunch sandwich I wanted. A wonderful experience. Staff and customer helped me check out because I shop on line. And, customer service helped me restore my online shopping account ‼️”
“Great atmosphere to shopping in with everyday low pricing on so many items both kitchen groceries and house goods. There are many products to choose from and their groceries are top notch both produce and quality.”
“Great market with amazing staff. Always seems to have what I need and great prices. Ingredients here have saved many dinners. Owner rules. Support local businesses!”
“Very good but waiting for a new manager for the health department. I had a delicious sandwich and drink from the juice counter. I will go back and I buy my supplements from Greens.”
“Went there for an Amazon return. Quick and easy!
I will add that while I was there I couldn't help but be impressed with the rest of the store. Made me want to shop there!”
“Great place for shopping. Great layout and very easy to find what you are looking for. Amazing takeout and sushi right when you walk in. Always a great selection of food and bakery items. Many self check out lanes - some accept cash too.”
“We would like to say thank you for the amazing work that was put into our Wedding Celebration yesterday. The cocktail hour and desserts were perfect. My family and I would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for all the support you provided for us to make this day possible.”

“This is a truly great supermarket. Stopped in recently and was impressed by the cleanliness, lighting, and efficiency. The aisles are wonderfully stocked and organized, and the staff are super helpful and nice. They have a great looking deli counter, as well as a bakery, sandwich, sushi, and coffee stations. The prices are reasonable in the face of an age of exorbitant grocery extortion. Can't forget about the shopping carts which are light and roll smoothly, and the self checkouts which are super easy to use.
Great store, and unlike many other busy supermarkets, wouldn't mind returning one day.
Five stars would not be an exaggeration. Much continued success to the good folks over at The West.”

“This has to be what a 5 star supermarket looks like. Shoprite is the gum at the bottom of your shoes. Wegmans is the brand new comfortable shoe you just bought. Terrible analogy but I dont like grocery shopping but Wegmans makes it tolerable. Its well kept, lighting is just right, the setting is welcoming and customer service is great. And prices are reasonable. Don't let people fool you into thinking its super expensive. They're just parroting what they heard from someone they dont know in a shop rite 30 years ago. Leave shop rite and their disgusting prepared food practices. Head over to wegmans!”

“For the most part I do like Aldi: the prices are good and the cashiers are respectful. I also like that Aldi cares enough about their employees that they have seats at their registers.
One complaint I do have about the Aldi in Freehold is they don't keep track of expired products for sale. The pic of the Scrapple that expired on Nov 13 was taken on Nov 16. That whole box of Scrapple had packages that expired on Nov 13.”
“If you're looking for a pleasant wide-isle experience, with many options for the Kosher consumer, Gourmet Glatt is the place to shop. The bakery & meat departments have good quality (I didn't try the take-out, fish, and sushi departments).”

“I like this place. Not for my full shopping list, but it has a lot of extras at reasonable prices. It's also an easy place to shop as long as they have people at the register. Unfortunately, they don't always have more than one opened. The last time I visited they did have two which makes it a pleasant experience.”
“This is a great spot to get anything from a jersey favorite pork roll, egg, and cheese to the belly buster which is 2 slices of pork roll 2 slices of bacon 2 eggs 2 cheese 1 hash brown and 1 sausage pattie for 7 bucks even there Reubens are amazing Sean is an amazing cook and the rest of the staff is very friendly”
“MY NUMBER ONE RANKED SANGWHICH DELI! The man who makes the submarines BOBBA SALAMA IS A MASTER SUBMON! He always is sure to sneak in an extra 1/4 pound of GABAGAOOL and paste on my sangwich ! He always uses the meat slicer machine to alter my ball cards making the corners PSA 10 sharp! Bobbaaaa Salaaaaama baby!”
“It is a smaller grocery store compared to belmar Shoprite or Wegmans. Although, living around town you can find what you need with a liquor store attached. They stock a lot of different products in that store ? I would recommend. It's clean and the workers are helpful. Plenty of parking. Can get in and out pretty fast. Has a small bakery, deli, and butcher section.”
“Drove by Aldi for years never went in. One opened by me in Red Bank. I like the fact it has BASICS annld no fluff. Has all you need, quick in and out - big $$$ savings.”
“Wow, great experience! I usually pick up a few things here during my grocery trip. The new manager introduced himself and asked if he could help me find anything. I needed a hard to find item and he stopped what he was doing and took the time to find what I needed.”
“This place is great. The owner is always there and super nice, the butcher always says hi, and the cashiers are friendly. One time the young man at the register offered to bring an elderly woman’s groceries to her car. And they always have what I’m looking for with good prices.”
