“They are the GOAT of Hoboken Hoagies. Their fresh made daily roast beef and mozzarella sandwich is unbeatable. I've been looking forward to a sandwich every time someone says Hoboken for over 30 years. My dad used to bring them home as a treat when we were kids. They are just as good as they ever were. My picky kids love it, too! ?I would have taken a photo, but the giant delicious sandwich didn't last long enough. ”

“just got the roast beef + cheddar onion gravy sandwich and it blew my t*ts off. $8?? anywhere else around here they'd bang you $13 for a sandwich that delicious and for that portion.. Next time I want a breakfast sandwich im going here too, $4 flat for a pork roll egg and cheese is very rare these days, whether you're in Hoboken or nowhere, new jersey... that is a good deal. seems like every bagel joint in this town tries swindling customers $6 or $7 for that same sandwich.... no thanks!!”

“the place is OK, i mean you pay for proximity and covenience and i dont mind that, but i didnt like that the prices were not visible for all products as i needed to buy something but also didnt have cash and needed to get to the 10$ card threshold. Ended up buying a really nasty nut mix which was 'expiring in 2023' but i guess that was a joke. Other than that, they do have an OK range of products.”

“Even though I live directly across from Whole Foods, i drive a few miles to Kings Food Market in Hoboken to do my grocery shopping. The brands available are high quality and well known. The variety is wonderful, with a great deli and fresh sushi. They are not pushing their own brands, and they are next to a wine store and a pharmacy. Parking is available. Last night I forgot my wallet at the checkout and rushed back later to see if by any chance someone had turned it in. The friendly manager, Gene, had kept it safely in his office for me, saying "I knew you'd be back." I gave him a big hug and hope he wasn't offended.”

“If you are looking for unique goodies to satisfy your sweet tooth, this is definitely the place to go! I first experienced Nick's Candy & Grocery in NYC, and had to stop at the NJ location. There are a ton of different candies to choose from, and each one is so delicious and different than typical American candies. Make sure to try the sour skulls!”
