2750 Egg Harbor Rd, LindenwoldWe have had the pleasure of boarding our pets at Country Pet Lodge several times over the past few months, and we are continually impressed with the facility and the incredible team that works there. While many places have friendly staff, Country Pet Lodge goes beyond expectations in both kindness and compassion.
Recently, we faced the heartbreaking loss of our sweet boy, Fitzgerald. When we brought our poodle, Clementine, for her stay, we let the staff know that Fitzgerald wouldn’t be with her this time. Today, to our surprise, we received a beautiful handwritten note from the staff, offering their heartfelt condolences and sharing in our grief. Their thoughtfulness and empathy made our heavy hearts a little lighter, and it reminded us just how much they genuinely care for the animals—and the families—that come through their doors.
Thank you, Country Pet Lodge, for going above and beyond, for treating our fur babies with such care, and for giving us comfort in a difficult time. We are so grateful to have found a place that feels like an extension of our family.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Driftaway Cafe
947C E Gibbsboro Rd, LindenwoldI’ve been going to Driftaway Café for many years since Fall of 2019, and it’s always been a good, dependable place. When I first went in 2019 when they still had the tiny indoor seating, and I enjoyed it. When March 2020 came, everything shifted to their outdoor window and porch area. They enlarged the indoor space and kitchen, so outdoor seating was the new plan for customers, and adjusted to it. It has the wrap-around porch and plenty of seating.
I do miss the picnic table that was on the grass and hope they bring something like that back, because I loved sitting in the sunshine. I usually stopped by while running errands and often took my order to go, but it’s also a nice spot if you want to meet a friend.
The only downside is when cars sit idling near the porch—it makes me leave. I wish there could be a kind sign reminding people to turn off their vehicles so everyone can enjoy their food and coffee.
Their food is the most reason I go as it's cooked from scratch, delicious items, the coffee is locally roasted which is excellent, and it’s been one of few favorite when in that area.

Mueller's Ice Cream
441 Chews Landing Rd, LindenwoldWe LOVE this place - in our opinion, the best ice cream place around. The staff is super friendly, efficient and quick to get that ice cream in your hands. They seem to have the perfect staffing level for each time of the day. And the flavors...wow, so many good ones. Personally, I'm a huge fan of their Banana Pudding Ice Cream - it's a frozen version of that classic dessert. The atmosphere here also helps to set it apart - when they're playing, you can watch the Phillies on their two large screens above the ice cream window AND with a quarter, you can get a small amount of turtle food for the pond. Love, love, love this place. Highly reccomend!

Lena's Homemade Water Ice
615 Laurel Rd, LindenwoldThe brownie sundae was really good!! And reasonable pricing. I should mentioned the ice cream is homemade! If you’re an ice cream connoisseur like myself, then you know homemade is the way to go. Our brownie sundae with rum raisin, cookies and cream and chocolate chip cookie dough was great !!
