I live in a 70 year old house and was still using the same Kenmore washer and dryer that was there when I moved in 36 years ago in 1987. When I decided to finally get a new washer/ dryer/refrigerator during the recent Black Friday Sale, Andrew was very astute making me realize that my water and gas valves no doubt needed to updated for the new washer & dryer to work smoothly without problems (or a catastrophe) and when I was overcharged inappropriately for the latter transaction by their plumber, he went that extra mile & made sure that I was appropriately reimbursed and treated fairly. His customer service was truly extraordinary. If you need the latest in new, modern, efficient appliances not only at a fantastic price, but also want personalized customer service by a person and a company of utmost integrity, I highly recommend without reservations Andrew at the Manalapan, NJ store!”

“Top-notch experience with Richmond Appliance. I was having a very frustrating experience with a washer/dryer purchase from one of the big home improvement stores (the blue one, not the orange one). After a dryer was delivered damaged, it was revealed that this special color dryer was then out-of-stock for 2 months. Apparently that was the last grey dryer available in North America and I was stuck with the same color washer without a match. I became fed up and called Richmond Appliance on a whim. I got in touch immediately with Mike S., who secured the dryer for me and had it delivered within 2 days. They came as scheduled, hooked up the dryer and actually tested it, which is more than I can say about the slobs from the "logistics company" delivering damaged appliances from the other place. After the washer was then leaking uncontrollably within 2 cycles and the whole tub malfunctioned, I had the big box company pick up the hunk of junk washer, only for the replacement to be deemed undeliverable because there was literally a hole in the bottom of it. I finally gave up on this sad excuse for a store and got a refund, called Mike again, and bought the matching washer from Richmond Appliance. Again, the delivery guys came within 2 days, took the time to hook it up and test it, and I finally had a washer/dryer setup after 2 weeks of torture. I was so happy with the service that I then decided to purchase a new range. I spoke to Joe, told him the brand I wanted, and immediately he rattled off the model numbers, specs, and prices of all the ones he had available. Again, range came within 2 days in perfect condition, the guys tested it, told us how to use it, and we had a new range without any headaches. This is a great store. These guys actually know the products they're selling and you can actually get in touch with someone when you have to. Their installers are actually excellent as well and don't do a drop-and-run. With this store, you're not only buying appliances, you're buying actual customer service and convenience. They now have a customer for life. Thank you for all the help.”

“I had an issue with the owner in the Plainfield location after he attempted to bully me into purchasing additional insurance that I declined numerous times. I called corporate, filed a complaint and was referred to the Perth Amboy location and referred to Ellis, the owner/store manager. This was the best thing that could’ve happened. He was very polite, courteous, and patient while he transferred all my info from the other location and even scheduled a pickup from Plainfield.. He kept in touch w/me and I had the furniture in less than a week. If you’re in the Plainfield area don’t choose that location out of convenience. Choose Ellis and the Perth Amboy location!!!”

“The Last time I went to Home Depot was when I was living in 52 Beach Street or on Targee street. This time I went with a group of people from JCC and this store is in a different location. It's still a store we can buy supplies, tools, refrigerators, washing machines ,dryers and many more.?? ?️⛏️? ⚙️ They also sell furniture, lights,sheds and plants for your garden. They have self checkout spots where you can buy it on your own. ??? When I was here I first checked out the garden area where it was wet and it had all these plants and there were birds. Then I noticed that some refrigerators have big screens on them and have a good discount.?? This place is located in the Charleston area of Staten Island. If I were you I would recommend this place to go for home Depot because it's very storage based and decent.?⚒️?️⛓️????”

Unlike the forest Ave location, none of the tiles were on display and worse there was not one person to help us except for one guy who was clearly busy loading items and operating a forklift. In my desperation I bothered him and he was nice enough To stop what he was doing. He also couldn't find what we're looking for but when others who would just say " We're out" he asked for a sku number. Turns out they had it but it was in a palette all the way to top. He grabbed his forklift and brought it down for us. Best of all, the item was discontinued and on clearance. Another lady came to help . They were both very nice. Ron and Lizette, you have restored my faith in what good customer service should be. Many workers and store managers have forgotten what that is”

She was very knowledgeable about all the paint options which is a huge plus. Our favorite part about HomeDepot is that they are pet friendly! Throw a leash on your pups and you're good to go! I will be updating my review after taking a look at the workshops. I would've appreciated more knowledge around Workshop services as that would be a great way to empower those that are less handy! I was surprised how little knowledge every employee we spoke to had about the workshops that are advertised.”

“I came here for a pick up order. I don't usually shop around because they make it so convenient to order everything you need online. It's usually very quiet here and I am the only customer. They staff is very nice and friendly. People should come here more. They have a lot of great stuff, and the stuff need more customers. By the way I buy all my electronics here. Printer, laptop, desktop, and phone. Love the quality of everything I buy, especially knowing I have Geek Squad if I ever need.”
