“Really nice store...elegant to shop (for an off price retailer), and you can find great value deals. Really friendly and courteous employees. As always with these kinds of stores, you have to shop smart, and not get duped into buying something just because they sell it (poor quality items at a high price). Homesense however, seems to have less of that going on.”

“Kohls is my go to for everything I need! I've bought my work pants there, they were so comfy that I had to go back and get like 5 more pair. I get my work shoes here and even my makeup, or a cute outfit. Whatever you need, Kohls has it for you and with reasonable prices! The staff is awesome and friendly and knowledgeable about the products as well! One time I was looking for something for my mom for Christmas and I asked the sales woman and 3 lovely ladies helped me look all over for it. They ended up being sold out, but they still took the time to go above and beyond for me!! Sephora is in Kohls too, so I can even get the only eyeliner I like there! It's a one stop shop!”
“08/20/2025: Another purchase @Tractor Supply. I like the product layout for feeds, and the prices are competitive. 06/23/2025: Made a purchase at Tractor Supply @ Toms River for the first time. I was looking for various feeds. They have a wide product assortment and competitive prices. The Tractor Supply associates were helpful. During checkout, I was offered help with the large feed bag items. I will certainly continue to shop here.”

“I have been going in looking for Dumplings for a few weeks. Every time I came in Nicholas Lardieri was there smiling, and willing to help anyone that walked in the door. Always a warm smile and friendly tone. He even told me about something similar to Dumplings to hold my kids over. Without his input I would not have known about the other toy that made my kids equally happy.”
“Boscovs has a large inventory of womens clothing and their prices are very reasonable. the fitting rooms are large enough so you can sit down while trying on clothing. They have shopping carts which I find very helpful when you are walking around the store with assorted clothes in your hands, Macys on the other hand does not supply the shoppers with any shopping carts, which I find to be very inconvenient. Recently I was shopping for a dress to wear for a wedding, I found a beautiful dress at boscovs and the price for the dress was excellent.”

“If you need new jeans, men or women, goto old navy. I’ve never seen soooo many jeans for both. These sweats here I had ordered online. Since they are woman’s, I ordered a size up as always. DONT do that lol I had to take them back. I tried a large on and then a medium. The medium was perfect and the wide legs are completely fine. Not way over wide.”
“With all due respect I love the place from the bottom of my heart. but what in the world is going on with the bathroom situation over there? I think it's ridiculous that you have to call an associate over every time you need the bathroom. And the fitting rooms, what's with those? Are they really still closed because of covid?”
“Five star review for sales associate RYAN. 2 star review for Macys. Ryan approached me as I was looking at clearance shoes, size 11 asking me if I needed any assistance in my shopping. What a nice treasure to be greeted with someone asking to help support your shopping experience. Ryan made shoe suggestions that were helpful and searched for boots in my size. They don’t have any. They don’t have much. But Ryan printed out the locations that had my shoe and size. Super helpful Ryan and thank you! Your efforts are supremely appreciated.
However, I have not been to Tom’s River Macys since I was 15. I’m now 42. Not impressed with the upkeep of this store. It looks like a dump. There were 4 empty and filthy fold out tables in the shoe department. The lighting is awful and it felt like a 3rd world shopping experience from my previous experiences with Macys in others cities and states, which have been better. I’m not sure I would go back even if I needed to and it was the most convenient location. Sorry Macys! Good choice on hiring Ryan though. He made my experience great. I wish you the best Ryan.”
