“I have been banking at SAFCU since 1965, when the only branch was on Sandia Base and it was known then as the Sandia Military Federal Credit Union. Over the years, my wife and I have had multiple bank accounts at SAFCU, automatic Bill Pay, in addition to mortgage accounts, several HELOC's, and car loans, for ourselves and 6 children, Trust accounts as an Estate executor for parents (all paid off and closed now), and a safe deposit box. A Branch manager on Coors Blvd personally worked with my creditors to deal with my bounced checks due to an error made by a SAFCU teller when she printed a small number of Counter Checks for me to use on a temporary basis when our mail was stolen from our roadside mailbox in Paradise Hills. After we retired and moved to Texas 5 years ago, we retained the primary bank accounts for electronic deposits of Govt checks, and payment of almost all recurring bills. We have avoided long wait times on the phone by using an automatic call-back feature, when available, and made judicious use of email to avoid misunderstandings. Kindness and self-control have helped me in dealing with people. 5 STARS for SAFCU!”

“I think it's an unspoken rule that banks are going to be busy on Fridays. However, when I walked in to US Eagle Federal Credit Union yesterday there was only one person ahead of me. As I got to the queue starting point, Michael, my teller, called out, I can help you right here. He smiled and we just fell into conversation so easily. I had just gotten out of work, I go in at 4am, and I had a few errands to run. I honestly wasn't looking forward to running these errands but they had to be done. Michael was very friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. I'm not very "tech savvy" and Michael wrote down the steps I'd take in order to be able to do a transfer using the recently updated app. He didn't have to do this, but he did. I walked out of the Juan Tabo location ready for the next errand. And I was smiling!! Thank u Michael. And the rest of the team at the Juan Tabo branch. I've not had a bad experience there ever! I'm grateful for all the wonderful employees there. And I'm so glad this branch opened near me. ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
