The Loving Tails Spa
42-10 34th Ave, AstoriaBrought my 14 year old cocker spaniel here and they did a great job. She looked and smelled great but most importantly it looks like they work with a lot of love and are sweet to the doggies which is the most important thing for me. Thank you!

Queens Low Cost Veterinary Center
28-27 Steinway St, AstoriaEverything about this place is so wonderful, and we had the best experience here for our Corgi and Kitty! You can tell that the veterinarian genuinely cares about the animals, as well as the community. The prices are very cheap-- is done in order to help as many as possible, and is truly coming from the heart and the best-intentioned place. Truly a gem for this community. Thank you for what you do and know we appreciate you!! ? ??

Pet Sitting & Training

Bark&Bone
30-65 33rd St, AstoriaWe can’t say enough good things about this dog walking service, specifically Caleb! We have a Bernedoodle that is a gentle giant, but also a little anxiety ridden and a scaredy cat. Caleb has been so patient with him and allowed him to explore at his own pace. He also knew just the right pups that would get along with ours to do social walks. We appreciate the love and attention our guy got, and also the consistency Bark N Bone provided to have the same dog walker for each time we were on the schedule. Thank you!

BALANCERO
3095 37th St, AstoriaEasily the best matcha and coffee in all of Astoria! I've been coming here since 2019 and can hands down say there is no better environment or coffee than at Balancero. Service is always friendly and speedy and the communal aspect of the space itself is so special. This is the first coffee spot I always bring friends and family in town to try!

Bar Dalia
33-17 31st Ave, AstoriaI've been here for dinners and cocktails and I have never had a bad cocktail, bad food or a bad time. They have a nice place out back where you can sit and which is a little quieter than the bar/restaurant area and the bar/restaurant has a nice and festive atmosphere. Service is just as good out back as in the front and their prices are very reasonable for the neighborhood.

Cookie Crumz
29-18 Ditmars Blvd, AstoriaBought three cookies for a dinner party. They were a hit! My friends say they were soft and not too sweet. They’re also a bit cheaper than Chip City’s down the street. This might be my new cookie spot.

Sweet Scene
3513 34th Ave, AstoriaAmazing place. So invited. You walk in and it feels like family. The staff, especially the owner, are all wonderful. I go there with my 1 year old daughter and always get the vegan Spinach pie. OMG sooooo freaking good. I can eat so many of them but I restrict myself to one. Even my daughter loves it. She gets so happy when we stroll on into the cafe because she knows what that means. I hope to try other items but just can’t let go of that spinach pie. Ugh so good lol

Il Nonno Ristorante
25-17 Astoria Blvd, AstoriaGriselle (hope we are spelling her name correctly), the youthful and vibrant owner, made our first dining experience at Il Nonno incredible. We randomly walked in on a Saturday afternoon celebrating our one week wedding anniversary. From the second we sat down, she was so knowledgeable and ready to provide suggestions and hear what we were looking for. Every dish she suggested was better than the previous. It's very obvious that this establishment cares about the finer details and showcasing the chef's exceptional knowledge and pallet . From the off-white colored table clothes to the delectable Luxardo cherries in the old fashion cocktails - this place is 10/10.
As Astoria natives, I can not recommend Il Nonno enough. Vibes are exquisite - perfect for a date night, or to grab a well balanced cocktail. Music playing- Olivia Dean, Khruangbin, lofi vibes. Absolutely a 10/10 experience from ambiance to service. The food and pear desert takes the cake as well. We've been around the block with restaurants in this neighborhood and i can confidently say we left ecstatic about the experience. Wish we took pictures of the main dishes but we were too excited to eat them!

Inca Paisa Restaurant Astoria
21-19 Broadway, AstoriaWe had ceviche mixto and entraña and both were delicious. The ceviche was perfectly acidic and the entraña cooked to our asking. Our waiter was named Sergio and he was very attentive and friendly during our whole meal. When we came there was a Dj in the front and the music was great! Would recommend for a quick date night

Arcadia Bar and Kitchen
12-21 Astoria Blvd, AstoriaThis is me and my partner’s all time favorite brunch spot, we have tried everything on the menu and like everything. It makes it difficult when we come because everything is good! Definitely recommend the patio in the back during warmer months if available, but still cozy inside year round. The staff is very friendly and amazing too. I recommend this place to everyone visiting nyc or Astoria!

Little Flower Cafe
25-35 36th Ave, AstoriaThe food is always what stands out for me! The gochujang chicken sandwich and guava pancakes are my favorite. The drinks are kinda a hit or miss for me, but I still enjoy. Truly a fave cafe, always super busy though so keep that in mind.

Gold'N Honey
25-03 Ditmars Blvd, AstoriaKnown for their Loukoumades but don’t sleep on any of their coffee. I will go on a limb and say it’s some of the best in Astoria. I’m not a latte type of guy but they have the best tasting ones I’ve ever tried. A must try if you’re in the area.
