DOGO Pet Fashions
44-02 11th St STE 511, Long Island CityI absolutely love the harness. I bought xxs for both yorkies at birth and they still fit into adult weight because it is adjustable. No slipping pot of harness and gentle on their trachea neck area

Pet Care

Court Square Animal Hospital
42-34 Crescent St, Long Island CityWe are beyond thankful to have found this place. We had terrible luck finding a good vet in Astoria, but we finally found it here with Dr. Gerber. She is great, so kind, and validates all we’ve been doing for our cat. It means a lot. They have other locations throughout Long Island, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. The chief veterinary medical officer, Dr. Coren, is fantastic and whip smart. We also commute to Huntington to go to West Hills Animal Hospital when we are able, to see him. It is because of these doctors that our cat is still here with us. I am forever grateful for the care and courtesy we’ve been given by Dr. Coren and Dr. Gerber. As long as we live in New York, we will continue to see them!

InstaVet Urgent Care & Wellness Animal Hospital - LIC Queens Pet Surgery Medical Center
44-16 23rd St, Long Island CityNoticed my cat limping around 7:30 on a Friday night. My regular vet was closed and the emergency vet wait was 3 hours long. I called this office and they told me they could get me right in. Rushed over and quickly felt at ease. Receptionist and nurses were patient despite my anxious rambling. They were gentle and patient with my pet. The doctor was soft spoken and attentive. He took the time to listen to every detail I gave and made me feel heard, validated and reassured during a scary time. Care was swift and they were transparent about cost, process etc and answered every question I had. So grateful that I found this place. Highly recommend!

Long Island City Veterinary Center
48-18 Vernon Blvd, Long Island CityWe are very pleased with our choice of getting a second opinion for our dog Kai. She has a terrible paw infection and with the uncertainty of it, we needed another opinion, more information, more testing and this place gave us just that. The tech, nurse and vet were all fantastic and very patient with my dog since she was nervous throughout the experience, which ended with smiles and a wagging tail. I highly recommend.

The service is wonderful as well—attentive, welcoming, and consistently excellent. Though a small part of me wants to keep it all to myself ?, 4747 should no longer be a hidden gem period.

Bantry Bay Publick House
33-01 Greenpoint Ave, Long Island CityBantry Bay is a culinary oasis in a neighborhood full of mediocre food. The menu extends beyond what I had grown to expect from pub fare and the kitchen consistently delivers appetizing and delicious plates.
The Lucky Charms (almond stuffed dates wrapped in bacon) are amazing, and the Cubanos put most others to shame.
For a light bite; the steak tidbits are awesome and I've been told the chili is second to none.
As for service, the fantastic staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
In this reviewer's humble opinion, Bantry Bay is the best lunch, dinner, or drinks place for miles.

Studio Multisweet
4332 22nd St 103B (Basement, Long Island CityMulti-sweet is an INCREDIBLE cake shop and the owner Amber is so sweet! We ordered a two tier cake for our great gatsby themed wedding (matcha / yuzu and black sesame / taro) and WOW did she deliver! The decoration was incredible and it tasted even better!! So moist and fluffy, not too sweet but so flavorful. I'm very picky with my black sesame because most places don't get the potency right but this was one of the best cakes i've ever had! We tried 5-6 of their flavors and everything is delicious so you really cannot go wrong.
For everyone who's had a bad experience with frozen cakes it may likely due to not giving it enough time to defrost. When we first ordered an 8 inch cake for our friend's birthday lunch. We picked up the cake she made the night before at 11am and didn't give it enough time to defrost. However after we let the cake sit all day to defrost, the cake ended up being so delicious we decided to go with multisweet for our wedding.
If you do decide to cater multisweet for your wedding I would recommend having her come onsite with catering and bring the cake. We used uber courier and while the cake arrived in perfect shape with no problem from multisweet's end, there was stress coordinating with the uber courier the day of.
Ultimately all of our guests were raving about the cake & wanted to bring slices home, we'll definitely be ordering here many more times!

The staff here is super friendly and warm even when it’s super packed and busy, and it really gives off such a nice local vibe with the art and local activities/business posters.
