“A big thank you to John of Pelham Bay Home Center! During this massive heat wave, my 87 year old mother's ac went out, we called him at 8am and within 45 mins he had a new unit sent over and installed it too!! Not sure what she would have done without Him!! Truly a blessing and very rare you can get customer service like this anymore. I highly reccommend this store and staff. In the past also he has come thru for us many times, Thank you so very much from us and my mom!”

“I was visiting the area and discovered my internet, and google maps feature did not work on my phone when I got to New York from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I was on the phone to my cell phone provider tech support for 2 hours between three calls, and they couldnt figure it out. I drove around in circles for hours, from JFK airport and ended up at this shop looking for a map to buy. The owner got his son and he figured out how to download a map and use it off line. It got me to where I need to go. I wll never fotget how the little discount store in the Bronx help me out and would not accept anything in return. This tells me they are very very good people here. “Friendly service!!! I needed to unclog my toliet, staff was kind enough to demonstrate how to use a snake. My grandson was with me. My 7 year old grandson said "I can do that" When we got home my grandson remembered every detailed and he was able to use the snake on his own and unclog the toilet. Thanks Jerry's Hardware store!!”

“I go to them for literarily everything I need for repairs and emergency situations. When Amazon says one or two days I walk in and out in mins! I am talking store is stocked with a lot of great items and they even offer a 10% off deal for I think Sedan Car Remote repairs on Saturday's ( only on saturdays). Manny and his copilot are such a delight could come off a bit overwhelmed at times but hey they work with nuts and bolts can't expect everything to be perfect -- but they are experts with years of experience and they have been serving the Bronx for decades!”

“The service is very good. I just recommend for store to stay open a little later during the week so that customers have time to get there after work. Also, many projects are done on the weekends so being open on Saturdays would help a great deal for so many customers. Being open an extra hour or two during the week and at least til 2pm or 3pm on Saturdays would be of great value to customers and would be highly appreciated.”
