I called ahead to tell them what I needed in my own words I told them and they guided me throughout the whole process, I needed some lumber and didn’t know the measure of the lumber at all, one of gentleman at front took his time to show me the lumber I needed to make sure if that’s the lumber I needed for my project! “As a young adult living in NYC, a lot of emergencies come up. We have always had a good experience with emergency shopping trips here. They have been helpful with paint supplies, key duplication, plumbing emergencies, etc. I appreciate having a convenient business with helpful staff members that are nice (which isn't always the case in NYC). Much better than big box stores for most things. And fair prices, too. Standard key duplication is only $2. Definitely recommend for convenience, answering questions and guiding me to products for my project.”
“If you are looking for personable service you will find it at Sugarhill Hardware. No way could I have called or walked into a major retailer like Home Depot or Lowes and received the support ( that's beyond service) that I received from this family-owned business. I called, they listened and dispatched a well qualified family member to my home ASAP to correct a plumbing issue. I have never seen anything like it. Professional & serious about my plumbing issue in less than an hour my old faucet was removed and a new one installed. The price was soooo right!!! Thank you Marco (Dad) & sons Jeremy, & Marvin. “My grandpa sent me to this store to get a specific surge protector. Mind you, I don't know anything about electrical & hardware appliances, so I was completely lost when entering the store. However, the the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and were able to find me the best one at such an affordable price! They even helped explain to me what a surge protector is and how I should go about choosing one. I am definitely coming back here again if my grandpa needs any other supplies haha. And I have already recommended this spot to my friends/family! :)”

There are very few materials that I have needed, that they did not have either in stock or just a few days from being available. My favorite thing about Prince is the customer service team, Bastian Ramirez *Basti, is my go to! AJ Crespo can also answer any all questions you might have on materials. We are involved with multi million dollar projects and I credit them for helping making my jobs go smoother, efficiently and within budget! Prince will deliver next day too!”
“Fantastic local hardware store, a solid 5 stars. Plenty of actively helpful and informed staff were available. They helped me get setup with caulk needed to fix my banging window. Better service than I've seen at larger stores, even in other states. Also an impressive selection for the size, even having wood. Given that there were three different options for caulk dispensers, you can anticipate the selection of hardware is impressive in this location. Will return!!”
