“Lanoba has the most well-refurbished and special pieces the city has to offer in a SPRAWLING warehouse. The worst part about going to Lanoba is DECIDING which piece(s) to bring home. Additionally, Lars & David are so knowledgeable and have timely, excellent customer service. We had our pieces delivered within 48 hours of purchase, AND, when we accidentally marked a piece of our furniture we were connected with a mastermind expert who fixed the problem within days. I truly not recommend Lanoba more!”

“Incredible individualized customer service for an out of town purchase! We purchase all of our family silver from Elite given their quality items, fair pricing speedy shipping but mostly because they are so helpful and a pleasure to deal with.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Bedford Galleries! We bought seven beautiful antique pieces, and each one was delivered with such care — they even polished everything before bringing it over. The furniture is absolutely stunning and very reasonably priced. Everyone we dealt with was so kind and professional. Couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to shop there again!”

“Incredibly friendly staff! I bought a dresser from them after finding it on their site while moving and they held it for me until I could pick it up. The dresser was in great shape when picked up (all defects and dents were disclosed to me which some vintage stores do not do ahead of time) and I am super happy with it. I wish I had space for everything in their store. Will be going back for smaller items soon.”

“I was really excited to check out this store while visiting NYC. Unfortunately, I won’t have that chance because, even though Google says they’re open and nothing was posted on their social media or website, they are closed! No sign. Nothing. Very disappointing.”

“They have a bunch of really unique pieces at affordable prices, a rarity for Williamsburg! The person who was working was friendly too. I found my dream coat and left feeling very happy!”

“Huge store! Huge selection! Super inexpensive? I was so surprised to find this in the heart of Williamsburg. Even the original art paintings on the wall were reasonably priced. In the best way possible, it feels like a flea market that exists in smaller cities.”

“One of my favorite vintage furniture/tchotzkes/clothing spots in Greenpoint! I always look forward to my visits here because you can't NOT find something that you're drawn to.

They have great pieces and the vendors are the sweetest. There are multiple different clothing vendor racks, all so well-curated. Prices here aren't wild, they're reasonable. :)”

“Any person into vintage and design has to pay a visit to Jarontiques. The quality and uniqueness of the furniture and collectibles is truly unbeatable. Their mid century collection is hands down the best I’ve seen. Sharan and Jaron, the proprietors, are so knowledgeable and super kind. The experience is so special, you’ll literally want to stay all day. One of a kind in every which way.”

“The best place to buy candles! They have a candle club, and just like coffee, you get a stamp for every purchase and a free candle after a few purchases. Plus the owner is lovely and everything in the shop is so luxurious while being fairly affordable.”

“This place is full of gems and I could've spent hours looking around. Amazing collection of lamps, clocks, art, and other vintage goodies. Mike was also a great guy and really knew his stuff. Highly recommend to anyone looking for some cool home decor!”

“Cool spot, found by accident - wound up buying an old bike for $50 to fix up. Will definitely head back to take more time exploring since they were closing at 1pm the Saturday I went.”

“Super cool and unique bracelets, earrings, and other jewelry. Made from this Amazonian nut which makes the jewelry totally sustainable and eco friendly.. But also makes each individual piece truly special and unlike any other”

“Quite possibly the best place to buy records in the city. This store has everything you could ever want, an entire wall of rare stuff in various genres including rock, alternative, punk, soul, and much more. The classic rock selection is vast and the prices are extremely reasonable. Would give 6 stars if I could.”

“Unique selection of vintage items, specifically very interesting furniture. However, they are pretty expensive, even for small items.
They have a very cute shop cat too.”

“Refreshing vintage & new finds. Quirky-chic owner who seems to know and care about what's in the store--as it should be. They may have whatever you're looking for, but they're certain to have a treasure you weren't looking for. Wonderful place. Fair prices. (If you've traversed the quadruple priced, dust-caked vintage shops on Atlantic Ave, you'll understand the difference.)”

“The stall staff is always willing to give you all the time you need and help you browse their fantastic and ever-changing selection. When you're looking for just that one right vintage piece to complete a look, this should be on your short list of places to check.”

“So many hidden gems to be found: I’ll be back regularly, if not only because Kaylie and Olivia were really sweet and helpful, going as far to appreciate the Billy Joel album I snatched up.”

“The store is charming and exceptionally well curated. We had to exert restraint to not walk out with half the store. We ended up finding a gorgeous display cabinet. Liz, the woman behind the counter, was super-helpful in making arrangements for the delivery, and Honey, the owner, was extremely accommodating with additional logistics. Thoroughly recommended.”

“I love donating to this Housing Works location. You roll in, drop your stuff in the back, and ask an employee for a donation sheet for taxes. Sometimes getting rid of cute clothes is hard, but it makes it easier knowing there's someone out there enjoying my old Betsey Johnson dresses. Making someone's prom dreams come true is reason enough to donate.”
