“The original Estee Lauder Private Collection line is being discontinued. Aerin Tuberose Gardenia is somewhat similar to Private Collection parfume but not the same. Too bad. Found a great Lancome 24h eyeliner pencil. It's truly stay on. All sales rep are friendly and helpful.”
“My go to store for household items I may need or 75% Christmas decorations! You really can't beat that. They have household cleaning supplies, placemats, decorations, gift bags, hangers, snacks - all at a discounted price. I love that this is in Greenpoint, a quick 10 minute walk from my apartment if I am need of a household item and don't feel like spending more money on the same item as Amazon or Target. A routine regular store I visit at least 1-2 times a month.”

“I have been shopping here for a few years and never had a bad experience. People aren't always the friendliest but that doesn't stop the cheap prices and well stocked shelves. If I have questions there is someone to answer and the selection can change from day to day making it a good place to come for regular shopping.
DII uses potentially misaligned or defunct clothes and items to sell cheap but this location has a nice selection that doesn't feel like it's poor quality.”

Yesterday I had an issue with a Christmas tree and the manager, Raina I believe, handled it in the most professional, efficient and friendly way. And they even held my items for me I was so thankful. Because I had to go back to work. When I went back to get my things. The gentleman at the door helped carry my bags upstairs. Which was very much needed. Whatever it is you may need. There's a guarantee you'll find here.”

They had antennas which is where we purchased ours... along with a 130 count roll of XTRA tough 13 gallon kitchen bags (and they are indeed tough). Got a needed mixing bowl of Sterilite containers $7.99 w/25% off. They ended up being $5.60. Linens, bathroom necessities, luggage. 3 floors. Prices were great...CHECK IT OUT???”

I was shocked when they closed Nordstrom Rack. I was able to shop for workwear there. But, the store became junky.. It appeared as if they were sending all of the cheap, tacky clothing to the Gateway store. Do not allow that to happen at your store. Clothing does not have to be ridiculously expensive. But, functional and of good quality! And the store should be kept with a neat, clean presentation... Staff should always be accommodating. It is their job!! Thank you again!!”
“This 99-cent store on Brighton Beach Avenue feels like a very typical neighborhood bargain shop — simple, crowded, and focused on cheap everyday items. The quality is mixed, as expected for this type of store. Some items are useful for quick needs, others are more disposable and won’t last long. Prices are low, though not everything is actually 99 cents anymore — still, it’s affordable enough for small, everyday purchases ?.
What really defines this place is the Brighton Beach atmosphere around it. People come in and out constantly, speaking different languages, grabbing quick items on their way home. It feels busy, local, and very much part of the neighborhood routine ?♂️?️.
This store isn’t about comfort or browsing.
It’s about cheap basics, convenience, and quick stops in a busy Brooklyn area.”
