Outback Steakhouse
145 Wolf Rd, ColonieHaving seen ads for the Bloomin' Onion and shrimp on the Barbie, I finally had the opportunity to try the Outback Steakhouse. I was greeted at the door by a smiling hostess who quickly seated me at a table I chose. A waitress appeared almost immediately to take a drink order and present a menu. So far, incredible, friendly service, great vibes. The seating was comfortable, cozy and warm. Food came. The Blooming Onion was delicious as were fried mushrooms and mozzarella boomerangs. I ordered a small rib eye, medium rare, which came medium well but it was a very thin steak which grilled beautifully but was simply too thin to be rare. I ate it, I was not unhappy. The chocolate layer cake which was ordered as take out, was amazing. I had enough leftovers for another dinner. I would love to go back to the Outback to enjoy some other items from the extensive menu. All told, a pleasant experience , fair price for a nice night out.

Red Lobster
170 Wolf Rd, ColonieDining at the Red Lobster Restaurant was a very pleasurable experience. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was remarkable in that she completed tasks without even being asked. Services like refilling soda glasses and bringing take-home containers were an automatic with her. Our family of 6 left with full stomachs and containers with leftovers. This restaurant is one of the best in the area, and you won't have to take out a loan to eat there. See you there.
