When Petco left shampoo on him it caused chemical burns. They were so amazing. I was so grateful that they calmed him as I was a mess. Definately reco them

45 Rome St, FarmingdaleWe absolutely love Hounds Town in Farmingdale. They take such good care of our pup Chewy and know him by name when he comes in- which means so much to us. It makes us feel like he isn’t just another dog to watch, but that they actually care about the dogs that come in! We love the different “parties” they have, the pictures they take and the different activities they do for our dog. We love that he has so much fun there and we feel super confident to be boarding him there for almost 3 weeks coming up. Thanks for everything Hounds Town but especially for keeping our pup safe and having a blast!!!

Frank and his expert team are extremely gentle, knowledgeable and professional. After our private in home sessions we continue and love the weekly group classes. No other trainer(s) are there for you for the life of the dog like Best Friends. The training never ends. Anything you need help with they can help with.

718 Main St Deli, FarmingdaleThis is my favorite local deli especially for breakfast. I first discovered it when I was searching on the slice app for breakfast options. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla and let me say it did not disappoint, I've ordered the French toast, French toast with eggs and also their greek omelette. I usually call into order before I head into work and the food is made quickly and fresh! They are also open for lunch and dinner and have a wide variety of salad, sandwiches and paninis! They have plenty of standard seating indoors if you wanted to dine in or grab and go. The staff there are always so wonderful. Definitely highly recommend!

155 b Main St, FarmingdaleBeen a big fan of SoBol since it opened. Their bowls are a great portion for their price! If I am in a hurry, I will call ahead so my bowl is ready when I get there. Even if I don't call ahead, their service for bowls are rather quickly. They have a great variety of bowls, smoothies and hot items! My go to is a regular acai bowl with no coconut and almond butter. The fruit is always fresh here so it is a nice sweet treat! SoBol has a great clean coastal ambiance. There is seating inside if you wanted to to dine in! Definitely highly recommend. There's ton on LI. Also they give a healthcare and first responder discount which I appreciate. Also love their rewards program because the more you buy you do get discounts as you accrue!

Dark Horse Tavern
273 Main St, FarmingdaleStopped for late lunch/early dinner on Friday of the Ryder Cup with my daughter and father. Bar was busy with patrons watching the match. Sat outside with my dog at one of the 3 outside tables. Seating was nice, especially with the dog because they have a barrier between the tables and the rest of the sidewalk. Had to go inside to order beer and food at first. Server did bring out the food and drinks after.
I had the Prime Steakhouse Burger and the other 2 had the Juciy Lucy burger. All were order medium rare. The server came out and explained the 2 Juciy Lucy burgers needed to be cooked more than med rare to melt the cheese inside. All 3 burger came out on the well side of medium well...but they were great!(that's why I gave 5 stars for the food) Very juciy with awesome flavor. The server and some of the staff were very friendly and had to come out and say high to the dog.
Bill came to $106 for the 3 burgers, 4 drafts (60 minute IPAs) and 2 High Noons.
Will definitely go again next time I am in town.
