“I absolutely love this HomeGoods! The employees are incredibly helpful, kind, and welcoming. I shop here at least once a week, and I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the customer service.
Claudia is truly top-notch! She is professional, thoughtful, and always keeps her word. She remembered that I was looking for specific storage boxes and let me know when new ones arrived. When I came back the next day, she had pulled out the most gorgeous storage boxes I've ever seen at the Bayside HomeGoods. She went above and beyond by showing me all the new arrivals, and I ended up buying every one she recommended!
When I got home, I was so excited to organize everything. The storage boxes fit all of my pants and shirts perfectly and made everything look so neat and beautiful.
This is hands down the BEST HomeGoods in Bayside! The team truly cares about their customers and knows their inventory better than any other HomeGoods I've visited. “This store has a huge variety of items, including household essentials like curtains, mats, rugs, pillows, and kitchen supplies. They also carry clothing for both men and women, toys for younger kids, snacks, and a great amount of seasonal decorations. Their holiday section is always well-stocked, especially during Christmas — trees, lights, ornaments, and a lot of festive displays.
Prices are very affordable, but the quality can be hit or miss. Some items are decent for the price, while others feel cheap or misleading. One issue is that the store sometimes displays high-quality decorations, but the boxed version next to it is not the same product — it’s a cheaper variation. It’s easy to assume you’re buying what you see, so always double-check. There are plenty of outlets around the store, and the staff usually allows you to test lights or open certain items. When in doubt, ask an associate before buying.
The store can get extremely crowded, and the aisles are small, which makes shopping a bit stressful during busy times.
Another downside is the loss prevention process at the exit. The worker by the front door often checks bags and receipts even if you’re simply carrying multiple shopping bags. Most of the time, all they do is highlight the date on your receipt, but you still end up waiting in a line just to leave — especially frustrating when the store is already packed. It can feel unnecessary and a little annoying.
Overall, the store has good variety, friendly staff inside, and great seasonal deals, but be prepared for crowds, inconsistent product quality, and slow, inconvenient checkout at the exit”

“Always a nice and neat store to visit which is usually fully stocked. They just need to go back to 5.00 or below because the price increases are outrageous. I can see maybe paying more than 5.00 for large items but pajamas were our favorite shopping experience when they were 5.00 and now many are 7.00 or 10.00, so we limit what we shop for sadly.”

She completely ignored me . Talking on the cell phone . Had to get a manager to help me get the bag out the show case .”

“This is hands down the best Five Below location! The store is always clean, organized, and fully stocked, making every shopping trip enjoyable. The customer service here is truly exceptional.
The store manager is absolutely amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and always makes sure my daughters and I leave happy. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and their team.
I also have to give a special shoutout to Lizzie! She is such a sweetheart and is always so kind to my girls. We’re in Five Below pretty often, and every single time she sees us, she greets us with a smile and checks in to see if we need help finding anything. It’s employees like her who make us want to keep coming back.
The entire staff deserves recognition for providing outstanding customer service. They’re always patient, helpful, and professional, even when dealing with difficult situations. I’ve unfortunately witnessed customers being aggressive toward employees over something as simple as Squishys, and I truly don’t understand it. The Five Below team handles these situations with grace and kindness. It’s free to be kind, and these employees absolutely deserve the same respect they show every customer.

“The employees at TJ Maxx are very helpful and polite, which I really appreciate. However, the store was extremely packed due to the Christmas season. There were only three cashiers working, and the checkout line was very long. Many customers had to wait around 20 minutes to pay. During the holiday season, the store really needs to schedule more staff at the registers to manage the crowd better.
The perfume section was disappointing. Many bottles were already opened but still priced the same. There were only 4–5 brands in the aisle, so not many options. If a perfume is opened or used, the price should be reduced, and they should add more variety.”
“This place is awesome there are tons of stuff that you’d find pretty useful, for example sports equipment I’m a pretty sporty guy myself and if I didn’t have a football I’d just come here to buy it I like how it’s not so far so I can get the essentials quick. “When walking into the store I was lost and was even directed to the wrong isle when looking for a new drainer, by two employees!!! Very Frustrating! But when I was about to leave Isabella had been very kind and walked me over to the right isle she was really respectful and nice definitely a great employee. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I even wanted a suitcase from a top shelf and she helped me get exactly what I needed for my trip to Japan. My experience there was quick with her help and I got everything I needed. Definitely coming again if service like that is maintained of course. “I love the fact that Burlington is a blend of both metropolitan and suburban neighborhoods within vibrant communities. I’ve traveled via public transportation and I was able to have an option either by Go bus, train or taxi/Uber. I had a chance to see the water front, trails and parks. I’d love to stay in Burlington, within a quiet neighborhood, while I could still enjoy the basic services of banks, schools, community centres and churches.”
