“Little Guyana is known for its main location in Richmond Hill ( Also considered Jamaica Queens) - today this location is probably the 3rd location within the vicinity of 5-7 miles . The original can be found in Richmond Hill, Queens ( also known as Little Guyana) . Guyanese food items/cuisine carry a vast cultural makeup of items . This is primarily due to the (5) major ethnicities that make up this country.
This little Guyana location does have the popular bakery within the market it's known for ( this is how it actually started over at the flagship location . Solely bakery with a few items.
The smell of the bread and all the other delicious items being baked at the location would cause an array of delicious smells plastering the air as you walked by .
The market is well stocked and organized not only with items that are guyanese items but your common areas or grocery items and fresh fruits and vegetables. The cashiers are always both very nice and pleasant. The female behind the bakery counter is usually the same (at least when I stop by ) - pleasant and will tell you what these bakery items are if you're not familiar .”
“This place usually has sales so you can get a great deal if you come at the right time. They follow covid guidelines they wear mask and gloves and move fast. It is popular for people to come here so there can be a rush but that's sometimes.”
