The Ridge Tea - Coffee - Spice
9 N Chestnut St, New PaltzWe stopped in while on a road trip from Delaware to Montreal. What a cool little place! It's a combination tea/coffee place. The person who helped us could not have been nicer. I had the Maple Rosemary Latte which was amazing! We would certainly frequent this place if we lived in the area. Check it out!

Twin Star Orchards
155 N Ohioville Rd, New PaltzFood was insanely delicious but everyone (including , and I would say, notably, the clientele) was hauntingly unfriendly.Still would return for the pizza. Truly delectable. Sparkling apple cider was lovely too and the donuts were the best id had all year.Parking: Massive lotKid-friendliness: Tons of kids (and dogs!)Wheelchair accessibility: Relatively flat but uneven and sometimes mucky ground. Would not recommend for self wheeling unless supremely strong! ?

Lagusta's Luscious Café!
25 N Front St, New PaltzA absolute must whenever I am in the area. Nothing else compares to this entire experience from their mastery of flavor to their respect for their local (and global) community. A healing experience and reason to have hope when nearly every other business manipulates us with greenwashing. Communities must support such treasures as Lagusta’s Luscious.I tried and loved:Marzipan cookie (was not aware my taste buds could feel this much)A peachy tea special with oat milk (AHHHHH! SO GOOD! I wish I knew the name but order literally anything and im sure you’ll be blown away!)

Mudd Puddle Coffee Roasters
10 Main St #312, New PaltzA really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend

Brooklyn Cider House
155 N Ohioville Rd #3402, New PaltzMy friends and I visited Brooklyn Cider House on a snowy Saturday, which was lovely because we were the only ones there upon arriving. The indoor area has a good amount of seating to accommodate visitors, and there's also items for sale lining the walls including snacks, drinks, etc. We all opted for flights, but their machine had an issue processing card payments likely due to the snowstorm. We were still able to place orders and pay later on once the issue was resolved. The dry flight was okay, the sweet flight was a little better. I wanted to order a particular one on tap, but it seemed they had a very minimal selection available for those. It would be nice if there were more tap options, as that form is always the best for ciders. It's worth stopping in if you're planning on hanging around New Paltz, but I wouldn't make an entire trip there for the cidery.

Robibero Winery
714 Albany Post Rd, New PaltzMy partner and I came here Valentine’s Day weekend and sampled their Wine and Chocolate pairing. The winery is small but beautiful. The different wines we had were ok. I’m not sure that the pairings matched. The wine called “Candy” was way too sweet, even by dessert wine standards, and the peach chocolate it was paired with was also incredibly sweet and ruined our whole palate for the rest of the wine tasting. The “I-87” red wine was our favorite. It had subtle notes of coffee and smokiness. The place is quaint and has a barn vibe. They also had live music which was nice. The firepit was on and added to the nice, barn vibe.

IPho
152-154 Main St, New Paltz3.6/5 - Tofu banh mi was solid in quantity and basic flavors were there. Bread was well toasted and flavorful but the general sandwich was underwhelming. Marinated Tofu lacked umph and pickled daikon / carrots could’ve been more punchy.

Russo's Italian Deli
164 Main St, New PaltzThis is my go to Italian sandwich shop in New Paltz. All the sandwiches are fantastic but my favorite is the Saporito. Unfortunately, they no longer make breakfast sandwiches, this was very saddening news.

Snug Harbor
38 Main St, New PaltzCame here for drinks and it's a cool vibe. The service is quick and friendly. It definitely is your typical dive bar with a billiard table and it's full of locals. They have some classic beers on tap and it's a cash only bar. A pitcher of beer costs $13 and on Thursdays they do $2 mystery pitchers.
