“My go to car rental spot in Manhattan! Good location and smooth experience. Debra(rep), Bionny (branch manager) & Thomas (regional manger for location) are all super helpful. They offer a wide selection of cars at good rates (specially if you have a corporate discount). You can return a car after hours and drop off keys in lock box. Only thing I would say is that they give you car at let’s say 1/2 gas tank and you need to fill it up at same level for return which is often tricky to do.”

“This was the EASIEST, most ORGANIZED and EFFICIENT rental process I have had in NYC, EVER! And, I have rented a lot of cars over the past 25 years. I arrived slightly early for my 8am pick up. The office opens at 730am. They opened the front door at 731am. Staff was prepared and ready. Nolan checked me in and apologized that it would take just a few minutes to get me on my way as I have an out of state license (CT). This took about 2 minutes. We were on the street, carside in less than 2 minutes. All the paperwork was automated so it was a simple process. The return was even easier. I pulled in near the garage opening, a staff member was waiting to greet me. Nolan was curbside before I even knew it. I was on my way in less than 3 minutes. Sign me up!
The only reasons I didn't give a 5 Star rating are: 1) The car was 3/4 full of gas when I picked up (note: this is not unique to Enterprise at all) so it's really challenging to return the car with exactly that much gas in it. I ended up, not surprisingly, dropping the car off with more gas than when I picked up. 2) The $300 damage deposit held on my credit card took three days to be credited back. That could be in part due to my credit card company - though they are Citibank. Either way neither company should hold $300 for three days.
Net/net - EXCELLENT - I will go to this location EVERY time I have the chance. Thanks Nolan and team.”

They are older and sometimes what some believe are simple transactions can be intimidating or confusing for them. “Best car rental agency in the city. Quick, uncomplicated, efficient, no hidden fees, mystery taxes, or confusing insurance. For tolls, you get an EZ pass, there is no upselling with other options. With the other big name agencies, you never know if the car you rented will be available, and there is always a risk that they will be sold out even if you get there on time, but AAMCAR always honors your reservation, and they don't try to push you into renting an EV. So glad I discovered AAMCAR.”

Josh and his team consistently provide the best customer service possible. They are flexible and efficient at all times. “When we arrived we were immediately greeted with friendly service. A car corresponding to our booking was provided and we went through the existing defects with the employee. 2-3 minutes after starting the journey we received an error message that the tire pressure on one tire was significantly too low. We turned around immediately and they helped us straight away and pumped up the tire.”

“I don’t usually write reviews but I had such a wonderful, hassle-free experience with Avis that I had to! I almost didn’t book here because of all the negative reviews but from start to finish it was nothing but smooth. I booked online a pay-ahead fee and was not met with any surprise charges when I went to pick up the car. They explained the contract to me thoroughly, and went through all my options and answered all my questions with patience. I read up ahead of time so I already knew what to expect and what I wanted to add on. The line was short on a Monday afternoon (2 people ahead of me) and I arrived just minutes before my rental was supposed to begin. The staff was excellent - treated me and everyone with kindness and respect and professionalism. They really know what they’re doing - and the woman who I can only assume is a supervisor made sure the trainee that was handling my contract did everything correctly. I walked outside and my car was waiting for me. It was clean inside and out - clearly had been freshly washed - and the employee David was so lovely he thanked me for my patience and put my suitcase in the trunk for me. Start to finish the check in process was probably no more than 15 minutes. I look forward to renting here again! I can’t recommend it highly enough!”

The lady who served us got us a great car. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is we had a long wait (well over an hour) while they tried to find us a car but I can’t fault them otherwise.”

“John was helpful and easy to communicate with when picking up the rental. I informed him when i realised that the 7 seater car came with near empty fuel, and he duly updated the status in the system. Apart from the fuel issue, the car i received was new and spotless inside.
Return was hassle free too.
