“Wilson was fantastic and truly helped me out with choosing the right products, furthermore he was so kind to activate a yearly subscription for a very discounted price. Helpful, kind and efficient, that’s exactly what I like and needed!”
“Fakrun was extremely helpful and professional with a great attitude. Ms. Fakrun helped me out with my membership and also gave me great suggestions on my dietary supplements.”
“Amazing vegan products and friendly service will definitely be back. I made a nice meal with the frozen mock meat and sauce with rice; extremely tasty. I made my vegan omelet with just eggs and the rice dish for a super delicious lunch. The kind lady working there was so helpful with recommendations and cooking instructions. The store is going to hold a food sampling event/celebration on February 7th 12pm-4pm they highly recommended I check out. I’ll definitely be back to buy more delicious ingredients, great shopping experience.”
“Great place for herbal apothecary, flower extracts, tea blends, tobacco alternatives and much more. The shop is small but the selection is large, the girls working there were nice and welcoming and the vibe was great :) I like to take my time and look around and felt no judgement about taking my time (which I always appreciate), would def recommend to anyone who like that kind of stuff, and even if you don’t and are just interested to check it out, try it! Maybe you’ll be surprised :)”

“The salesman( I think his name was Angelus?) was a remarkable help! Got everything I needed and more with all the deals he made us aware of! A remarkable salesman”
“What an amazing location. Just your regular Whole Foods. Lots of great selections and choices.
Need a quick place to eat a bite before a show? Great seating area upstairs/escalator. Deli is great. Pizza by slice. Or whole pizza. Great salads. We had chicken (little dry but good temperature) cooked green beans. Great flavor. Steamed broccoli. Great. And a large liter sparkling water All this for $10. Amazing. Also had Ckn and artichoke piece of pizza. Delicious. Could have been a little hotter. Piece of pizza is like $3.95.
Close to all the theatres. We also bought flowers and a card for a friend who is starring in Alicia Keys Hell’s Kitchen production. Great price compared to CVS down the block.”
“Great prices and a very reliable place for some of my go to staple. They have changed over the years, so you have to be more mindful about some products. I do enjoy the vast selection and the baker and butcher on location.”
“I had such a great experience with Jenny! Her customer service was outstanding—she was very attentive and genuinely listened to my needs and concerns. She quickly found a resolution regarding my menstrual issue (without getting too personal), and I felt completely comfortable throughout the process. Jenny was knowledgeable, funny, and such a pleasure to interact with. I truly look forward to seeing her again as I continue my progress. Thank you so much, Jenny—you are amazing!”
“We stopped by to grab a few drinks during our time in New York. The store was clean and the staff was friendly. The beverage selection was a bit more limited than we expected—we couldn’t even find Coca-Cola—but we still found some good alternatives. Overall, it was a quick and pleasant stop.”
“Thank you to the staff of the pizza department.
I accidentally spilled hot soup on the floor, and instead of impatient, the employee handed me a paper towel and cleaned the floor.
thank you man.”

“WORLD COURAGE AND THE PROTECTiON OF THOSE WHO ARE KiND SO ThAT KiNDNESS iS NOT DESTROYED by weak perceptions and weak interpretations of kindness.Kindness is not doormat trash.kindness is innovative, creative and philanthropic.-obviously.The opposite of kindness is DiSCRiMiNATiON.it’s horrid when you smile at a stranger, while shopping, and they respond as if you showed your hand,as if,rather than highly dignified behavior, this is a desperate and weak facial expression. We all deal our own deck in certain senses.Every hand that fades.kindness is a percentage of what defines COURAGE(it’s obviously part of the definition of courage, because if somebody is kind towards another human being A BULLY thinks less highly of the spiteful actions they were about to commit(obviously BULLIES PREY ON PERCEIVED VULNERABILITIES).Spending M$ney at WhoLeFood’s is the action of bringing Joy To The worLd.I am consistently made to feel uncomfortable,it doesn’t matter how much M$ney YOU spend and I have been a good customer and spent a significant amount of M$ney.-not that anybody, regardless of how much they spend, deserves to feel disrespect.”
“ I came here to buy some drinks, yogurt, and fruit. I didn't try any of their prepared foods. I found their fruits and vegetables were fresh.
one staff member was helpful in finding the item for me. They have several self serve checkout counters.
place is nice and clean. There are two floors and the lower floor had a big eating area.”
“I feel very blessed to get to know this store. I have been going through severe inflammation that has been severely impacting my health and day to day functioning and was just coming out of the doctor and decided to walk 45 minutes to this store. Wow, was it worth it. Immediately, I felt a warm greeting and was very nourished with their home cooked meals. I had a huge container of split pea soup which was DELICIOUS and then took a plate and another huge container of Lentil soup home. Today I was eating all of that goodness and it brought a smile to my face. Steamed veggies that quenched my body's thirsts for whole foods, seed oil free, and just truly good food that was made with heart. There are FEW places where you can get this nourishment in NYC on the go. Those who live near this place are so blessed. I will definitely go back even though I live so far! They also have a bunch of other nourishing items. I took home a week long herbal remedy that I'm going to be taking this week. This place is a treasure. Let's take care of our city's treasures. Thank you everyone for all you do!”

“Excellent food and really welcoming, helpful staff. They have a sandwich, salad, and juice bar, among other things. The amount of fresh options they have is really stunning, especially for the price. It's a gem, for sure.
Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options.
Dietary restrictions: They have halal and veggie options and are open to substituting any ingredients in their recipes.”
“A joy to buy from this company!
Some of the best customer service I've ever experienced ~
Christopher and Co always respond with kindness and concern;
nearly immediately, to troubleshoot any shipping delays/etc...
Truly a model of quality. Were the rest of the world as
responsive and warm these guys, we'd be in a far different place...
Not to forget, fast shipping and great products!
One of the best & most reliable sources of healthy goods out there!
I've been buying from them for five years and am continually impressed...
These guys will be around a long time!
Deep Love ~”
“Best in NYC , fully stocked ,full of everything you need , knowledgeable, friendly advice WITHOUT pressure.. My fave place all under one roof w specials .THANKS WESTERLY”
“Don’t go here. I’m selfish, they’re amazing, and rarely are they out of stock on medications like CVS and Duane Reade. They actually call me when meds that I’m waiting for come in. They’re personable and take good care of their regulars.”
“Independent family owned since 1977! Support small local business like this one and especially health food stores that were promoting conscious living and eating before the corporations like Whole Foods capitalized on the healthy food interests. Awesome affordable made to order veggie juices and small brands , polite nice service from the owner . Get your juice and gluten free pasta and Ezekiel bread and healthy snacks here instead of the corporate stores with no soul. Hidden gem!”
“Great pharmacy in the neighborhood! They function efficiently and smoothly, are easy to reach on the phone, and have my prescriptions quickly ready for pick-up. Moreover, Friendly staff.”

“As an holistic RN, I have been to many health stores. Elm Wellness is an excellent store with quality products; the supplement section is significant and the staff knowledgeable. The prices are competitive- actually better than most in the area. It is a clean and organized environment with a helpful and kind staff. I give it the highest rating with a note of appreciation for all they do!!!”
“My family and I come here often as this used to be our local grocery shopping store. They have plenty of options for snacks, dried foods and frozen foods! I still shop here often to restock my snacks.”
“I have been in to Eagle several times to pick up a few items without going to a supermarket or big box store. They always seem to have exactly what I need and Jimmy will take you right to the spot in the store. Easy to shop here and the prices are very good.”
“Like a giant bodega, in the best way possible. Staff is super friendly (in a NYC kind of way). Barbara at the deli, the coffee guy and the ladies running the self checkout are all amazing. The fresh mozzarella is a hidden gem.”
“I’m absolutely thrilled with OrganicStore!
The seller is incredibly kind, polite, and genuinely cares about her customers. She’s also a doctor, which makes her advice especially trustworthy and professional. Every time I have a question, she patiently helps me choose exactly what I need. The quality of the organic products is outstanding, and the service is just wonderful. I’m truly impressed and will definitely keep coming back! ??”
“Anyone who leaves a bad review for Village Farm and Grocery is NOT a New York lover and deserves to live in a land of strip malls and seven elevens. Yes, this place is gritty and run by people who don't smile at you and make small talk. They also do their best to deliver. (And they DO.) They are not perfect maybe, for some in the digital age. But they are OLD SCHOOL NEW YORK and bring memories of when this city was real. Please give them some love and support. Or at the very least, don't leave nasty reviews.”
“It’s ok. More organized and cleaner than the others in NYC. Don’t buy the Whole Foods brand though. Always such a disappointing experience. They shouldn’t be allowed to make food. But otherwise decent store, decent lay out”

“Joanna was amazing. She was friendly and professional. I had received an email saying there was a problem with my subscription so she just made a new account and she told me how to use my points so I could get my new membership and she was just delightful”
“Great addition to the neighborhood given the limited space.
They really should consider ditching the smoothie bar to add more room for groceries. There are plenty of places to grab a quick sandwich or smoothie in the area already.”
“this place is amazing. I walked in and right away was greeted by someone knowledgeable and ready to help. I spoke with the Pharmacist after just to confirm how I should be taking the supplements and how often etc. he was amazing. I felt so comfortable, he answered all my questions and more. It feels good to have an in person interaction and buy things on hand. I get anxiety these days scrolling through amazon reviews and not sure if I'm purchasing the right thing, when it will come, etc. etc. This is now my go to store!”
